Red Scare got its name from the fact that the flag of communist Russia was red and the Red Scare was the fear of communism spreading.

*Where did Red Scare get its name?*

Red: The word “Red” in Red Scare mean communism.

Communism : Is a system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy. Which means that there’s no private stores. So no Walmart, Jc Penny, no retail stores.

At first ordinary people feared communism in a legitimate way, but then people became extremely afraid of most immigrants that were called a communist because, calling someone a communist is a good way to scare someone.

MAIN IDEA

Sarah Palin called Barack Hussein Obama a Terrorist who is also a socialist and at the same time a communist.
