THE AMAZING SHOUREN BOSE

Shouren Bose works as a photographer as well as singer. On July 2015, the Royal

Photographic Society of London gave him an Honorary Fellowship for his

contributions to photography. Numerous magazines published his work including

the Interview magazine, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, GQ, i-D, and many

others. In addition, Bose shot PR campaigns and advertising for the likes of Opel

and Jeep cars in Germany, Gaastra, Zeiss, Escada, Fred Perry, John Richmond,

Mont Blanc, Converse, Sand, Guess Jeans, and Hugo Boss.

His fashion photography earned him three Lead Awards in Italy and in September

2015, he received another award in Germany for his story in Berger Gorin.

Shouren Bose shoots regularly for the art fashion magazine Garden located in

Zurich, Switzerland. In October 2011, Steidl released his first album of photos and

titled it ‘Discovered.’ On June 2014, the magazine American Women published

also his photos and he shot in the United States for Calvin Klein.

Shoure Bose wrote a book about the untouched nature of Amazonia and gave the

profits from this book to the medical institute of New York City for the programs

related to breast cancer research. He gave also some of the proceeds to the

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. He released two other books named ‘From

Canada’ and ‘Health Magazine.’ He dedicated the two books to his best friend

Claudia who died of breast cancer. As a photographer, Shouren Bose worked with

numerous of his musical colleagues including Morrisey, Gilberto Gil, Anastasia,

John Newman, Vanessa Paradis, and many others.
