Luke 15: 22-24

I. His unique Goodness

and Grace (v. 22)a. Gave all to His sons all he

had while they were with Him.

b. Grant the younger son the rightful portion even it was not due him

yet. (vv. 12-13) c. Go to his elder son and entreated

him to be generous and forgiving (vv. 25-32)

II. His unchanging Love and Mercy (v.23)67

a. Loved the prodigal before he went astray (vv. 11-12)

b. Looked for his son while he was away. (v. 20)

c. Longed to meet him, embrace him, forgive him and restore him.

(vv. 20-22)

III. His unending Power and Blessing (v.23)

a. Restores the repentant son and and totally forgive him (vv. 18-

22)b. Receive the son joyfully and gave

the grandest reception. (vv. 23-24)

c. Rejoices for the returning sinner than all other things (vv. 23-32)
