A Message from the Dean
For 148 years, outstanding students have attended Washington University Law. Today some of the best and brightest students in the world
compete for admission to our school. Washington University Law is one of the nation’s top law schools, and our student body consistently ranks among the strongest in the country.
A great law school makes an impact through its students and the work they do throughout their lives. Our students—as lawyers, business professionals, public interest advocates and individuals—will leave here with the capacity to shape and influence our world. We share a responsibility to help them improve and excel each and every day.
We are pleased and proud that Alicia McDonnell, one of our distinguished alumni, has established the Alicia McDonnell Annual Fund Scholarship Challenge to encourage others to increase their support. The Annual Fund helps us to sustain and enhance the excellence of Washington University Law and is a vital part of Leading Together: The Campaign for Washington University.
I urge you to lend your support today.
Sincerely,
Nancy StaudtDean and the Howard & Caroline Cayne Professor of Law
