RECYCLING & ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECIONTO AVOID GLOBAL WARMING

In 2016, an estimated total of 15,000 people will be attending the Fifth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach. Pompano Beach has the largest concentration of Brazilians in South Florida. Located in the Center of Broward and within 15 minutes from all major Broward Cities, Pompano Beach was recently named one of America’s Top 10 and up coming Destinations in the US.

The Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach has already proven to be the best and largest representation of the Brazilian Art, Culture and Cuisine in South Florida for 4 consecutive years. The perception was built, and the intention of the City of Pompano Beach to integrate Brazil with the local US culture is already accomplished. The largest Brazilian Event of South Florida, is a non for profit, and a community sponsored festival with the potential to become one of the largest in the US. The Fifth Edition of the Festival will follow the same successful formula and format of prior Events bu will be adding to the mix revolutionary and trendsetting Ideas. With that in mind, the Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach has the duty to improve and excel every year, by outdoing, and surpassing previous Festival’s.

Theme: In 2016, the Fifth Edition of the Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach aims to build awareness about Environmental protection and how recycling can have a positive effect to avoid Global Warming. Set designs and event scenography will be developed and built mainly with recycled materials. Portable Bars and Vip Area will become innovative showrooms with pioneering ideas of how to use recycled items to design ambients and spaces. These new ideas and trends while surprising and trailblazing, portray and depict the inspiration that we need to find solutions that could protect our environment, and proactively act to prevent global warming.

Non Profit: The Heartbeat Foundation is a non profit corporation that promotes multicultural events with the goal of uniting the community and eradicate social inequality. The Heartbeat Foundation has produced and promoted the Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach, and The Festival of Nations (a Goal on multiculturalism). The Foundation employed residents and locals by filling more than 150 (one hundred and fifty) part time positions in its Multicultural Non Profit Events. The Foundation retained the services of 43 (forty three) local suppliers, contractors and vendors. Multicultural exhibitors and vendors employed an average of 600 part time workers. The Foundation collected non perishable food items, and donated almost U$6,000.00 (six thousand dollars) in cash, beverages and refreshments to people in need, churches, and orphanages. It also donated part of all proceeds to agencies that support the social mission. The Heartbeat Foundation helped more than 100 (one hundred) local minority owned businesses with growth, sales, media exposure, and networking. The Foundation is heating up the local economy and promoting tourism in South Florida through cultural diversity events. Through happiness, fun, and entertainment the Foundation has been trying to create multicultural awareness, or unity, healing, and harmony between groups regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status.

OBJECTIVETo built a creative and strategic partnership with MAIN SPONSORS in 2016 and become a marketing asset that will cater to new consumers and buyers, new business opportunities, and brand exposure. To provide a high level of assistance to promote and market MAIN SPONSORS, solidify and enhance Business Relationships, while increasing SPONSOR’s brand awareness among not only Brazilians, but especially North Americans and Hispanics. The non profit Heartbeat Foundation, and the City of Pompano Beach would look to become a TEAM PLAYER, and as such, would want to provide a high level of support to exponentially increase SPONSOR’s marketing results and extend its brand through the Fourth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach.

ORGANIZERSThe City of Pompano Beach supports the festival, the Non Profit Heartbeat Foundation sponsors and funds the Event, , The Pompano Beach Parks, Recreation and Multicultural Arts Department provides consulting and oversees City Staff management, and Public Services management. The Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce is a part of the Festival Board of Directors and Committee, and supports the Festival with Public Relations and New Business Development, The Broward Sheriff Department access traffic and safety matters. Via Americas produces, directs, and promotes the Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach.

The Fourth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach has a new ally and collaborator for 2015. “Via Americas”, a joint venture between “LS Entertain” and “Via BR Cenografia”. “Via Americas” is Brazil’s largest event organizer and set designer. They are the Official set designers of all FIFA Stadiums, since South Africa’s Worldcup. They will be the official contractor of Rio 2016 Olympics. The VIP Area of the Brazilian Carnival, at the “Sambródomo” in Rio de Janeiro, is created and built by them. Via Americas is also in charge of set designs, scenography and event development of the “Rock in Rio” Festivals, “Nissan” and “Volkswagen” Automobiles, “Bradesco” Bank, “Miss Universe”, among many other corporations. In 2016, “Via Americas” will raise the bar of the Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach, and bring our vision to a whole new level of quality and execution. With their support, we will achieve worldwide recognition, not only as the best Brazilian Festival in the US, but possibly the best Festival outside Brazil.

FIRST, SECOND, THIRD and FOURTH BRAZILIAN FESTIVAL ( 2012 - 2013 - 2014 - 2015 )

First year, first attempt, praised by local authorities....”What an Outstanding Job” says the Mayor of Pompano Beach Mr. Lamar Fisher. The First Brazilian Festival by Pompano Beach brought 6,000 people between the hours of 2pm and 10pm to the Community Park. More than 20 Tons of Audio, Visual and Cameras lighted up the City with the Beat and Rhythm of Brazil, the warmth of our Nation, and the charisma of all the Brazilian Exhibitors. Brazil’s Art and Culture were Vivid in more than 60 Tents made up by Brazilian Exhibitors. The Brazilian Festival has earned the right to become the official annual Brazilian Event for South Florida.

Almost 10,000 people made a visit to the Second Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach. The event registered the largest number of vehicles parked on the vicinity of the Festival. More than 400 bags of Ice and 700 cases of beverages and refreshments were consumed. By 10pm, food vendors were totally sold out, and the kids zone still had a line of parents trying to drop their kids for that last ride. Two Stages showcased all kinds of attractions throughout the whole day. Two generators with 750 KWV energized stages, light towers, exhibition spaces, audio and visual. More than 60 staff members worked in the Festival, and almost 30 Police officers and fire marshals maintained the peace and the safety of the general public.

In 2014 and 2015, 15,000 people attended. 138 Exhibitors had in average a total of 500 employees, staff members and sales reps working at exhibition spaces. The Third Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach had a total of 8 Bands performing live on the Main Stage, with International Headliners from Brazil, and Concerts all day in a mix of music styles such as gospel, reggae, latin music, axé music, samba, and Brazilian Popular Music. Brazilian impersonators, samba dancers, kids from Local schools mesmerized north americans and the early crowd. Out of State skaters showed up for radical maneuvers in the Festival’s X-Zone. The excitement was seen all over the place, with 13 rides for Families at the Kids Zone.

MEDIA ON THE GO, WHEREVER YOU AREIn 2016, The Fifth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach plans to seek innovative Media channels to visibly advertise the Event, and hopefully draw thousand of visitors to Pompano Beach and the Community Park. Nowadays, with the increasing adoption of social networks, mobile devices, applications, and event sites, consumers are constantly faced by, and seeking new happenings, deals, trends, and a new movement.

The Fifth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach hopes to allocate 25% of the total Marketing Budget specifically to these revolutionary delivery methods of media advertisement.

US RADIO, TV STATIONS, and PRINTING MEDIAThe Fifth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach is a tremendous undertaking and requires not only focus and responsibility, but primarily funding. ATTRACTIONS 2016

LOCAL BANDS, PERFORMANCES AND INTERNATIONAL HEADLINERSA full day marked by music from Brazil. That is the spirit of the Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach. Following the same successful line up style of 2014, with more than 7 musical acts and variety at its best, the Fourth Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach will bring reggae, rock, samba, carnival, axé music and lots of percussion with the Beat of Brazil’s best songs and classics. Every year the Festivals flies from Brazil, at least 2 big headlining acts and brings from other states, bands that have become a smashing success because of innovation. Local artists also shine on the Main Stage of the Brazilian Festival.

THE X-ZONEA radical, extreme, and nervous wrecking challenge of free style skating in half pipe ramps. The X Zone will be the appealing and yet absorbing youth Challenge culminating with a Prize of U$1,000.00. Now, with The FourthBrazilian Festival of Pompano Beach, the surfing community living in Broward will have a chance to be on the spotlight and give us a fearless showdown of endurance, bravery, persistence, and dedication. The Skateboard free style challenge will be organized with the Surfing Community of Broward. The X-Zone will count on Half Pipe Ramps, and will be featuring a Community Challenge. The Finalists are competing for Give Aways, Cash Prizes, Trophies, and the Media Spotlight.

Commerce and Public relations by the Brazilian Enterprise Community offering special deals on Community Services, Travel, Hospitality, and Tourism., available only during the festival. The Third Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach is expecting at least, 100 Exhibitors in 2015.

Simultaneously, the Second Stage (City Stage) will also showcase earlier in the day, Miami’s Resident DJs spinning with the beat and rhythm of Brazil’s, Local Samba Dancers, Percussion and Drummers. Exotic Carnaval’s Queens in traditional Carnaval Costumes heating up the Stage and dancing the sexy samba. Local Pop. Reggae, and Country bands singing and playing Brazilian Top Hit Songs.
