Our faith is as nothing as compared to the faith of God Almighty. He is the one who has kept the faith. He has promised certain things He would do and we should realize He is going to do them. He is faithful who has promised. Now, let us consider the Abrahamic Covenants and see how important they are for us today. In Romans, Paul, refer- ring to his kinsmen, says: “For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites: to whom per- taineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises: Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. And hath raised up an horn of salva- tion for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our ene- mies. and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers. and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham. That he would grant unto us. that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear. In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.” Luke 1:67-75 This prophecy tells us that Christ came to fulfill and confirm the promises made to our Israel fathers. 1 THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS Are They Being Fulfilled? Are God's promises really being ful-filled? In other words, is God a covenant-keeping God? Does He keep His word?

Faith is used almost-exclusively to talkabout us today. Do human beings havefaith? What does the word "faith" mean? Ifa person has faith, he is faithful. He keepshis promises. We sometimes think howgreat our faith is. Our faith is as nothingas compared to the faith of God Almighty. He is the one who has kept the faith. Hehas promised certain things He would doand we should realize He is going to dothem. He is faithful who has promised.

Now, let us consider the AbrahamicCovenants and see how important theyare for us today. In Romans, Paul, refer-ring to his kinsmen, says:

“For I could wish that myself wereaccursed from Christ for my brethren,my kinsmen according to the flesh:Who are Israelites: to whom per-taineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving ofthe law, and the service of God, andthe promises:Whose are the fathers, and of whom asconcerning the flesh Christ came, whois over all, God blessed for ever.Amen.”

Romans 9:3-5

Paul wrote this to show us that theIsraelites were the recipients of theseblessings from God. We are going to exam-ine, primarily, two of these blessings: thecovenants and the promises. Paul saysthat these belong to the Israelites.

You cannot separate the covenantsmade with Abraham from the Lord JesusChrist. Common teaching today attemptsto do it by assigning the Abrahamiccovenants to the ,Jews and the Lord JesusChrist to us, the so-called, "Gentiles."

In Luke, chapter one, is a long prophe-cy by Zacharias, the father of John theBaptist, concerning Jesus Christ:

“And his father Zacharias was filledwith the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying.Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; forhe hath visited and redeemed his peo-ple.And hath raised up an horn of salva-tion for us in the house of his servantDavid; As he spake by the mouth of his holyprophets, which have been since theworld began:That we should be saved from our ene-mies. and from the hand of all thathate us;To perform the mercy promised to ourfathers. and to remember his holycovenant; The oath which he sware to our fatherAbraham. That he would grant unto us. that webeing delivered out of the hand of ourenemies might serve him without fear.In holiness and righteousness beforehim, all the days of our life.”

Luke 1:67-75

This prophecy tells us that Christcame to fulfill and confirm the promisesmade to our Israel fathers.

Or Forgotten?

Page 2: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

In Romans 15:8, Paul identifies Christas the "minister of the circumcision for thetruth of God, to confirm the promisesmade unto the fathers."

What were the promises that weremade unto the fathers which Paul saysbelong to the Israelites?

“And when Abram was ninety yearsold and nine. the Lord appeared toAbram, and said unto him, I am theAlmighty God; walk before me, and bethou perfect. And I will make my covenant betweenme and thee, and will multiply theeexceedingly. And Abram fell on his face: and Godtalked with him, saying. As for me,behold, my covenant is with thee, andthou shalt be a father of manynations.Neither shall thy name any more becalled Abram, but thy name shall beAbraham; for a father of manynations have I made thee.”

Genesis 17:1-5

The covenants tell us that Abrahamwould become the father of many nations. Most Bible margins state specifically thatthe word "Abraham" means father ofnations, not just father of one small groupof people. If the covenants are being con-firmed and fulfilled, where are they beingconfirmed and fulfilled? In which people?I believe and teach that the Anglo-Saxon,Celtic, Germanic and kindred peoples arethe physical, literal, descendants of thetribes of Israel. Many who read this willnot believe it. But, if you will continuereading, you will learn more about thisastounding truth.

“And I will make thee exceeding fruit-ful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee,

And I will establish my covenantbetween me and thee and thy seedafter thee in their generations for aneverlasting covenant, to be a God untothee, and to thy seed after thee.”

Genesis 17:6-7

This is an unconditional covenant. Goddid not say I will do this if you meet cer-tain conditions. God said, “I will do this,”period. He said that he would be a God "tothee and thy seed after thee," indicatingthat the descendants of Abraham wouldworship God Almighty. Today that wouldmean that they would be, of necessity,Christian people. They would have to wor-ship the Lord Jesus Christ. If we do notbelieve that, the first thing we had betterdo is cut out and throw away the wholeNew Testament. Why? Because, the newScriptures tell us that Jesus Christ is thename of God Almighty.

God verified this covenant withAbraham's wife —

“And God said unto Abraham, As forSarai thy wife, thou shalt not call hername Sarai, but Sarah shall hername be. And I will bless her, and givethee a son also of her: yea, I will blessher, and she shall be a mother ofnations; kings of people shall be ofher.”

Genesis 17:15-16

The word "kings" means rulers, men ofresponsibility, those who would organizeand control these nations. They wouldhave a ruling, royal house as we see laterin fulfilled prophecy.

Saxons — Sacs sons — Isaac's sons

In Genesis, chapter twenty-one, wefind that Abraham is concerned about hisseed:

2

Page 3: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

“And God said unto Abraham, Let itnot be grievous in thy sight because ofthe lad, (Ishmael) and because of thybondwoman; in all that Sarah hathsaid unto thee, hearken unto hervoice; for in Isaac shall thy seed becalled.”

Genesis 21:12

Abraham’s seed would not comethrough Ishmael (the son of Hagar, thebondwoman), but through Isaac. The liter-al, physical descendants of Isaac are theones who would be called.

Who are the descendants of Isaac(Isaac's sons)? In Hebrew the name Isaacwould be written without the "I" making it"Sac", so Isaac's sons in Hebrew would be"Sacs sons." Saxons — sons of Isaac. Askfundamentalist brethren to explain whywe are called the Saxon people. Generallyspeaking, this is a term used by historiansin all the history books. Our people wereknown as Saxons even at the time wecame to America.

God told Abraham; “through Isaacshall thy seed be called.” Called to what? The adoption, the glory, the covenants, thegiving of the law, the service of God andthe promises. The people to whom Christcame-the Christians.

What was Abraham's side of the bar-gain? God tested Abraham by asking himto sacrifice his son, Isaac. Abraham didoffer up Isaac as a sacrifice, but Godstopped him saying:

“By myself have I sworn, saith theLord, for because thou hast done thisthing, and, hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:That in blessing I will bless thee, andin multiplying I will multiply thy seedas the stars of the heaven, and as the

sand which is upon the sea shore; andthy seed shall possess the gate of hisenemies; And in thy seed shall all the nationsof the earth be blessed; because thouhast obeyed my voice.”

Genesis 22: 16-18

If we say that God's prophecies toAbraham, Isaac, Jacob and Rebekah areall being fulfilled in the people we callJews today, we are going to have to throw-away the covenant of Abraham. The Jews, themselves, tell us that they constituteless than fifteen million people. God saidthat Isaac's sons would be thousands ofmillions.

“And they blessed Rebekah (Isaac'swife) and said unto her, Thou art oursister, be thou the mother of thou-sands of millions, and let thy seed pos-sess the gate of those which hatethem.”

Genesis 24:60

The Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Germanicand kindred people constitute somewherebetween seven and eight hundred millionpeople across the face of the earth.Scholars estimate that between two andthree million Israelites came out of Egypt. That means that there were moreIsraelites in Egypt fourteen hundred toseventeen hundred years before Christthan there are Jews in Palestine today.

Immediately after bringing approxi-mately two million Israelites out of Egypt,Moses said:

“(The Lord God of your fathers makeyou a thousand times so many more asye are. and bless you, as he hath prom-ised you!)”

Deuteronomy 1:11

3

Page 4: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

A thousand times two million equalstwo billion Israelites. The ministers tell usthat the Jews in Palestine constitute theregathering of the multitudinous house ofIsrael. Yet, the Jews are one of the small-est groups of people in the world. So yousee, we have a fulfillment that is still inthe future.

It is interesting to note, not only didGod say that his seed would be innumer-able, because it would be as the sand andthe stars, but his seed would possess thegates of his enemies. The word "gates"means passages.

If you take a look at a map of theworld, you will discover that there is onepeople and one family of nations that con-trol almost all the canals and sea pas-sages of the earth. That race is the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Germanic and kindred peo-ple. We have owned and built all themajor canals from the Panama canal tothe Suez. We have controlled the Straits ofGibraltar. the Cape of Good Hope and theislands of the Pacific which control all thesea lanes of the world. Only one race ofpeople have ever controlled the gates oftheir enemies.

Curses and Blessings

“And his father Isaac said unto him(Jacob), Come near now. and kiss me.my son.And he came near. and kissed him:and he smelled the smell of his rai-ment. and blessed him. and said. See.the smell of my son is as the smell of afield which the Lord hath blessed:Therefore God give thee of the dew ofheaven. and the fatness of the earth.and plenty of com and wine:Let people serve thee. and nations bowdown to thee: be lord over thybrethren. and let thy mother's sons

bow down to thee: cursed be every onethat curseth thee. and blessed be hethat blesseth thee.”

Genesis 27:26-29

It is said, by the ministers today, thatanybody who curses the Jews is going tobe cursed by God Almighty. Conversely, anybody who blesses the Jews is going tobe blessed by God Almighty. Let's take alook at the fulfillment.

The Jews were almost completely driv-en out of Europe between 1300 and 1500A. D. Every nation in Europe physically-deported almost every Jew from the citiesand the countries of westem Europe. What happened? The Reformation — theage of enlightenment — the greatestprogress that the Anglo-Saxon people evermade in their civilization. Society, arts, literature, inventions, discovery and colo-nization all blossomed after the Jews wereremoved from western Europe.

The Jews were physically-driven out ofSpain in 1492, and God saw fit to blessSpain with the discovery of America inthat same year. Less than one hundredyears later, Spain was the most powerfulnation on the face of the earth. They didnot lose that power until they allowed theJews to come back in and begin to takecontrol.

England drove the Jews out in 1600.By 1800 she ruled the seas. Englandallowed them to come back and by 1850the Jews had complete control of England. You can see the deplorable condition ofEngland today.

The Jews are treated better in Americathan in any other nation on the earth.Hardly anyone can argue with that. Theyare allowed to hold political office. Theyare allowed to do anything in the land.

4

Page 5: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

The Jews are given complete religiousfreedom. They own practically all thenews communications and the motion pic-ture industry.

What is happening to America? IsAmerica being blessed because we areblessing the Jews? No, the exact oppositeis taking place! America is going down tochaos, degradation and ruin. Everyungodly thing from dope to pornographyis destroying this nation.

It is impossible for me to believe thatGod Almighty meant that if we blessedthe Jews that we would be blessed. Theexact opposite is happening to us.

God said he would give Jacob the fat-ness of the earth and plenty of corn andwine. The Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Germanic,Scandinavian and kindred peoples are theonly race upon the earth who have neversuffered from famine. How many coun-tries in the world today depend onAmerican wheat to survive? In spite of thematerial abundance and mechanical con-trivances that exist today, every otherrace in the world is subject to famineexcept for the generosity of America.

Every nation upon the face of theearth, who has befriended America hasbeen blessed by God. Here is an example:when we took the Philippine Islands awayfrom the Spanish, in 1898 most of thePhilippinos welcomed America with openarms. We established schools, taughtthem English and, as far as I know, with-in thirty years everyone on the PhilippineIslands could speak English. They wereour friends. They were the most civilizedand God-blessed people in the islands ofthe Pacific immediately after they accept-ed our rule over them.

The land or Cuba is another example.Cuba, in 1958. after a century of Americanrule, had the highest standard of living ofany nation in all of South America. But, in1959, when they turned away fromAmerica and allowed a communistic dicta-torship to be established over them, theyimmediately sank into degradation andruin. If you do not think that GodAlmighty had something to do with thatyou are denying the Word of God.

God said that those who accept, coop-erate with, and give favor to God's Israelpeople would be blessed. Many of theother nations of the world have found thisto be true.

Turkey, of all the nations of the easternMediterranean, has been our friend for along time. Many of you know that theTurks are descendants of Ishmael. Thatwould make them our half-brothers, as itwere. In the last hundred years or so,when they became good friends of theUnited States of America, they prosperedas no other country in the easternMediterranean has. This continued aslong as they accepted our ways and didthe things the way the people of Anglo-Saxon Israel did. They have been astronghold against Communism in theMiddle East. I have talked to people whohave been to Turkey. They tell me that thecities there are some of the most modernthat you will see anyplace outside of theUnited States of America. Unfortunately,Turkey turned from following the ways ofIsrael and as a result the Communistsand terrorists have disrupted their coun-try.

Let us look at Genesis, chapter twenty-eight, where God is speaking to Abrahamagain:

5

Page 6: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

“And thy seed shall be as the dust ofthe earth, and thou shalt spreadabroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south:and in thee and in thy seed shall allthe families of the earth be blessed.”

Genesis 28:14

We know that Christian theologyteaches us that the Lord Jesus Christcame through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob anddown through David. All the world hasbeen blessed by the teaching and preach-ing of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. But, at the same time, an almanac willtell you that at least eighty percent of allthe modern inventions of the world in thelast two hundred years have been inAnglo-Saxondom. Read the patents in apatent office. Eighty percent of the timeyou will find the inventor is an Anglo-Saxon, a Celtic, a Germanic or aScandinavian in origin.

Is this just chance? Did this just hap-pen? Did God Almighty choose a people tobless all the earth, and then let them doall the things that corrupt the earth?Have the Jews blessed the earth or has itbeen the Anglo-Saxon and kindred people?

I know that our government, as it isconstituted today, is causing trouble allover the world. I understand that our gov-ernment went into South Vietnam suppos-edly to rescue the Vietnamese from com-munism. Instead, in seven years time, thecountry was devastated, at least one andone half million people were killed, andthe communists took over. But, our gov-ernment, today, is not run by Anglo-Saxons. It is run by the people called Jewsand they do as they will in the govern-ment. They plan and carry out wars thatdestroy other people.

It is not God's Israel people who aredoing the things to those heathen that wesee being done. According to a poll takensome years ago by some senators, eighty-five percent of the American people want-ed to win the war in Vietnam, drive outthe communists, set up a good govern-ment and then leave.

What other nation has started some-thing like the Peace Corps? Who largelyjoins that organization? Yes, I know thePeace Corps is, to a large extent, atheistic. But, they put ads on television and radioand they ask young people to come andvolunteer. Who volunteers to work forpractically nothing, and live in some littleold dirty hovel over in Africa or Asia? Whotries to teach those people farming? It isthe AngloSaxons, Scandinavians,Germans and Britons. It is God's Israelpeople who do the volunteering. They domuch of it in ignorance, but there is some-thing in this people that causes them towant to help other people.

Outside of Anglo-Saxon countriesthere is no such thing as charity. How arepoor people treated by their fellow coun-trymen in places such as India, Africa andChina? They are left in the streets to dieof starvation. Only the Anglo-Saxon,Nordic and kindred people go out of theirway to do charitable works for the poor.

God said of his Israel people, thedescendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob:"in thy seed shall all the families of theearth be blessed." I believe that has agreater fulfillment yet to come.

The Bounds of God's People

Deuteronomy thirty-two contains astrange promise, understood by Moses:

6

Page 7: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

“Remember the days of old, considerthe years of many generations: ask thyfather, and he will shew thee; thy eld-ers, and they will tell thee,When the most High divided to thenations their inheritance, when heseparated the sons of Adam, he set thebounds of the people according to thenumber of the children of Israel.”

Deuteronomy 32:7-8

An amazing coincidence has happenedupon this earth during the last five hun-dred years. Our ancestors in Europe werebecoming somewhat crowded between1100 and 1300 A.D., so far as their citiesand way of life were concerned. Whatshould happen, but someone by the nameof Columbus (and a few other men) set sailand discovered a whole continent. It waslarger than Europe by far, and more richin minerals. It was blessed with good agri-cultural conditions and had many harborsfor commerce. God provided a place forHis Israel people to come, and they found-ed an entire continent. God set the boundsof His people, where they would inhabitthe places of the earth, according to thenumber of the children of Israel.

In this new land God gave to Israel thesoil that had been built up by naturalprocesses over the centuries. He hadallowed all the things of the earth to bebrought here — the minerals of the earth, the great and wide rivers. TheMississippi, the Missouri and Ohio rivernetwork is the largest, longest and bestwater transportation system in the world. It carries more commerce and more tonsof material and supplies than all the restof the world's rivers put together. Justthink of that. I think this land was puthere in order to fulfill the prophecies andthe covenants that God made to Israel --that they would be in such numbers thatthey would need to expand. God provideda place for this expansion.

About one hundred years ago, all of thenew continents of the world were ruled bythe Anglo-Saxon people. A sixty-year-oldmap of Africa shows that it was divided upbetween Portugal, Spain, France andEngland; they ruled over the entire conti-nent. The same thing was true with Asia. The children of Israel took possession ofnearly all of the desolate places of theworld. Consider the continent ofAustralia, a barren wasteland. Even thesea coasts were practically uninhabited. After Israel moved in, the deserts blos-somed like a rose. Three hundred yearsago it was inhabited by a few stone-agesavages. Today, Australia is a modern civ-ilization.

A specific prophecy to Israel is found inIsaiah forty-nine:

“Thus saith the Lord, in an accept-able time have I heard thee, and in aday of salvation have I helped thee:and I will preserve thee, and give theefor a covenant of the people, to estab-lish the earth, to cause to inherit thedesolate heritages.”

Isaiah 49:8

Israel would be caused by God Almighty toinherit the desolate and vacant lands ofthe world.

The Covenants Fulfilledin North America

We are speaking, primarily, of thisnorth American continent so, let's readIsaiah sixty, where God is speaking toIsaiah:

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen uponthee. For, behold, the darkness shall coverthe earth, and gross darkness the peo-

7

Page 8: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

ple: but the Lord shall arise uponthee, and his glory shall be seen uponthee.”

Isaiah 60:1-2

Apparently, this is speaking of a timewhen the light of Christianity, and thetrue light of the gospel, would not havebeen in the rest of the world. But then,Jesus Christ and His word and truthwould rise and shine upon Israel.

Another interesting prophecy is foundin verse eight:

“Who are these that fly as a cloud, andas the doves to their windows?”

Isaiah 60:8

Many people think that is a specificprophecy of the airplane. What race ofpeople invented the airplane? Who buildsninety-five percent of them? Who hasflown them around the world for the pasteighty years? Largely the Anglo-Saxon,Celtic, Germanic and kindred peoples.

“Surely the isles shall wait for me,and the ships of Tarshish first, tobring thy sons from far, their silverand their gold with them, unto thename of the Lord thy God, and to theHoly One of Israel, because he hathglorified thee.”

Isaiah 60:8-9

This is a strange statement, here inIsaiah, uttered way back hundreds ofyears before Christ: the ships of Tarshishfirst. If you look at a map in the back ofyour Bible, you will see that southernSpain has on it the word "Tarshish."Columbus sailed from Tarshish to the newworld. In fact for the next twenty or thir-ty years, all of the explorers who broughtthe news of the new world to the conti-nents of Europe (which was inhabited by

the so-called "gentiles") were on ships thatsailed from Tarshish. Isaiah wrote of thisover two thousand years before it hap-pened

“....for in my wrath I smote thee, but inmy favour I had mercy on thee. Therefore thy gates shall be open con-tinually; they shall not be shut daynor night; that men may bring untothee the forces (or wealth) of thenations, and that their kings may bebrought.”

Isaiah 60:10-11

America has not only attracted all thebrains and scientists of the world, butrefugees from religious and politicaloppression have almost always found thegates of America open. It is easier to trav-el in and out of our nation than any othernation in the world. Many heathennations, when they have been able to,have completely closed their doors to trav-elers and immigrants. America is almostthe exact opposite.

“For the nation and kingdom thatwill not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.”

Isaiah 60:12

This is repeating again the idea thatthose nations that would oppose Israelwould eventually be destroyed.

“The glory of Lebanon shall comeunto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify theplace of my sanctuary; and I willmake the place of my feet glorious.”

Isaiah 60:13

Here, Isaiah said that God would planttrees — yes, forests — in the place whereHis people would be and where He woulddwell. I believe this description fits thisNorth American continent exactly.

8

Page 9: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

God says that His sanctuary is inIsrael. You can read that in many places, including Ezekiel thirty-seven when hetalks about bringing Israel back together. He, also, says He will place His sanctuaryin them forever.

“And the heathen shall know that Ithe Lord do sanctify Israel, when mysanctuary shall be in the midst ofthem for evermore.”

Ezekiel 37:28

There is a book that is available fromChrist &. Country Church, P. O. Box 8504,Baltimore, MD 21234, entitled “The Gloryof Lebanon Now In America.” The authorstraveled the western part of the UnitedStates prior to writing this book to show,as far as their understanding was con-cerned, that God Almighty had trulybrought to pass that which he had prom-ised in Isaiah 60:13. The following is aquote from chapter three:

“The revelation came to me after seeingour west coast forests, and twice havingheard God speak to me the words:‘THIS IS THE GLORY oF LEBANON,’together with a study of God's Word, impels me to make some comparisonsbetween the new promised land (of)America, and the old promised land ofPalestine. The first of which is a compari-son between America's forests and thedeforested lands of Palestine.”

Then the authors go on to write aboutthe plan by the Jews to replant trees inthe barren land of Palestine.

“Mr. David Ben-Gurion stated in thesecond session of the Knesset, November 7,1949: 'We must plant hundreds of thou-sands of trees covering an area of five mil-lion dunams, one-quarter of the surface ofour country; we must cover the mountains

and uncultivable land, the hills and thesand dunes, the barren plains of the Negev— all the land of Edom and of the Arava,as far as Eilat.’”

The author of THE GLORY OFLEBANON. . . continues:

“The question I ask: Is this the begin-ning of the fulfillment of the prophecy inIsaiah, where God says: ‘I will plant in thewilderness the fir tree, the pine tree andthe cedar together?’ Many, many years willbe required before these trees to be plantedwill become mature, — and yet these dayswe are living in are 'the last days ofprophecy.'

By way of comparison, let us note that:ALL OF PALESTINE COULD FIT ONTHE OLYMPIC PENINSULA, NOW AMATURE FOREST OF FIR TREES —ALREADY OVER 2000 YEARS OLD,AND PROTECTED WITH 13 1/4 FEETOF ANNUAL RAINFALL! YES, GODCAN WORK MIRACLES!'

One can almost hear well-meaningChristian folks say, 'Well, God can do any-thing, even to making trees grow miracu-lously fast.'”

Why not believe that God Almightyhas already done that which He said Hewould do? Why not believe that we do nothave to wait for a future fulfillment? Ihave traveled in some of the nationalforests on the west coast. The national for-est guides have told me that many trees inthose forests were two hundred to threehundred feet high and from sixteen toeighteen feet through at the base whenMoses brought the children of Israel out ofEgypt.

Who planted these trees in America?Certainly no man did. We know theIndians didn't. We know the cave men,who might have lived here according to

9

Page 10: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

the evolutionists, didn't plant them. Itwas God Almighty who planted them.Who is planting the trees in old Palestinetoday? The Jews are.

As mentioned before, as far as we cantell from what people say who have trav-eled over there, most of the trees thathave been planted in Palestine by thehand of man die. The land is as barrentoday as it was forty years ago. I think itis going to remain barren.

God said in Isaiah:

“And their seed shall be knownamong the Gentiles, and their off-spring among the people: all that seethem shall acknowledge them, thatthey are the seed which the Lord hathblessed.”

Isaiah 61:9

If you were to go to any other nation ofthe world where you find educated people, and ask them what nation, they think,God has blessed above all others, whichnation do you think they would choose? They would tell you, America, even if theministers in the pulpits in America do not.

On another page in the book, THEGLORY OF LEBANON NOW IN AMERI-CA, the authors write of old Palestine:

“Today in Lebanon, as quoted from thebook 'The Conquest of the Land ThroughSeven Thousand Years, there are only foursmall groves of trees left of ancient days. The largest is Tripoli Forest with only fourhundred trees in it, and with only fortythree of the Sequoia Gigantea Wolf treesleft. The fact is, if all the trees of Lebanon, and, also, the 200,000,000 trees yet to beplanted in the sections of Negev, Galileeand Judea, plus the fact, if all of theIsraeli State were replanted with trees —

which, mind you, would leave no room fororange trees--the total would not or couldnot begin to equal the amount of trees justin our one State of Washington, alone.

Is this tree project in Palestine today, though insignificant by comparison towhat we now have in America, THEGLORY OF LEBANON which the Lordpromised to Israel?”

The answer to the above is, obviously,NO. It is not what God promised to Israel.

In Isaiah chapter forty-one, God says,

“I will open rivers in high places, andfountains in the midst of the valleys: Iwill make the wilderness a pool ofwater, and the dry land springs ofwater. I will plant in the wildernessthe cedar, the shittab tree, and themyrtle, and the oil tree; I will set inthe desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree togetber.”

Isaiah 41:18

Old Palestine was never called "thewilderness." The only time "the wilder-ness" was mentioned in the old Scripturewas in reference to the land traveled, between Egypt and old Palestine. However, this North American continentwas called "the wilderness" by our forefa-thers. They recognized that this was theplace where God was replanting his Israelpeople. The purpose of all these trees andforests and this fulfilled prophecy is in thenext verse:

“That they may see, and know, andconsider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath donethis. and the Holy One of Israel hathcreated it.”

Isaiah 41:20

dred peoples, those covenants He gave toAbraham; which He reiterated andexplained under Moses, and enlargedunder the prophets, and confirmedthrough the blood of the Lord JesusChrist. Where are these covenants comingto pass? Here, on this North Americancontinent, under the hand of God's trueIsrael, the Anglo Saxon people.

The tragedy is that people think thatGod has forgotten His Israel people. Theythink He is waiting until some future timeto fulfill His promises to Abraham. Thisfalse doctrine is being taught in manychurches today.

Jesus Christ, the Glory of the Israel People

So far, our study has been mostly inthe Old Testament. Now, let us considermore specifically the Lord Jesus Christ inrelation to the House of Israel. Did Christcome according to the promises made tothe fathers? Are these promises being ful-filled in the Israel people? Let's see whatthe New Testament has to say beginningwith the story of Christ's birth:

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lordappeared unto him in a dream, say-ing. Joseph, thou son of David, fearnot to take unto thee Mary thy wife:for that which is conceived in her is ofthe Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, andthou shalt call His name JESUS: forhe shall save his people from theirsins.”

Matthew 1:20-21

This was the prophecy of the LordJesus Christ coming through the line ofDavid, that He would save HIS peoplefrom THEIR sins. Christ was promised to

come to Israel; they are His people. Weknow that sin is the transgression of thelaw, therefore, the prophecy is that thesinning or the disobedience of the Israelpeople against God's law would be takenaway.

In the first chapter of Luke we findthese very familiar verses of Zacharias, prophesying under the anointing of theHoly Spirit about the Lord Jesus Christ:

“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel: forhe hath visited and redeemed his peo-ple,And hath raised up an horn of salva-tion for us (the House of Israel) in thehouse of his servant David:As he spake by the mouth of his holyprophets, which have been since theworld began.”

Luke 1:68-70

As you read this, you will recall thatthe Scriptures are very plain thatZacharias was of the House of Israel, aswere Mary and Joseph. All of these peopleinvolved here were Israelites. So, whenyou read "us" and "we" the reference is to"Israelites."

“That we (Israel) should be savedfrom our enemies, and from the handof all that hate us:To perform the mercy promised toOUR fathers [Abraham, Isaac andJacob] and to remember his holycovenant:The oath which he sware to our fatherAbraham,That he would grant unto us, that webeing delivered out of the hand of ourenemies might serve him (God) with-out fear In holiness and righteousnessbefore him, all the days of our life. And thou, child, (John the Baptist)shalt be called the prophet of the

11

Page 12: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

Highest: for thou shalt go before theface of Lord to prepare his ways:To give knowledge of salvation untohis people by the remission of theirsins,Through the tender mercy of our God:whereby the dayspring from on highhath visited us,To give light to them that sit in dark-ness and in the shadow of death, toguide our feet into the way of peace.”

Luke 1:71-79

In order to understand the mission ofJesus Christ ,as given by Zacharias in thisprophecy, it is essential to know to whomhe was referring when he said "us" and"our" and "we". He was referring to "we" ofIsrael. He was not talking about theChinese, or the Negroes, or some heathennation. He was talking about the people towhom the Messiah had been promised--the House of Israel.

In the second chapter of Luke, we findthat Jesus was identified twice by peopleunder the anointing of the Holy Spirit asthe Redeemer of the House of Israel.

“And when the days of her purifica-tion according to the law of Moseswere accomplished, they brought himto Jerusalem, to present him to theLord.“

Luke 2:22

This was under the law of the Lordthat the first born was to be presented tothe Lord by the parents.

“And, behold, there was a man inJerusalem. whose name was Simeon;and the same man was just anddevout. waiting for the consolation ofIsrael: and the Holy Ghost was uponhim. And it was revealed unto him bythe Holy Ghost, that he should not see

death, before he had seen the Lord'sChrist. And he came by the Spirit intothe temple: and when the parentsbrought in the child Jesus. to do forhim after the custom of the law. Then took he him up in his arms, andblessed God, and said. Lord, nowlettest thou thy servant depart inpeace, according to thy word:For mine eyes have seen thy salvation.Which thou hast prepared before theface of all people; A light to lightenthe Gentiles, and the glory of thy peo-ple Israel.”

Luke 2:25-32

Remember, Jesus Christ is to be theglory of the people of Israel. Keep this inmind as you continue to read about whathappened to Israel after Christ cameaccording to the promises.

“And there was one Anna, a prophet-ess, the daughter of Phanuel, of thetribe of Aser: she was of a great age.and had lived with an husband sevenyears from her virginity; And she was a widow of aboutfourscore and four years, whichdeparted not from the temple, butserved God with fastings and prayersnight and day.And she coming in that instant gavethanks likewise unto the Lord, andspake of him to all them that lookedfor redemption in Jerusalem (marginsays "or in Israel").”

Luke 2:36-38

Here Jesus Christ is identified twice, adouble witness, that He was theRedeemer of the House of Israel. Underthe anointing of the Lord, John tells usthat this Jesus was to be made manifest,or known, to Israel.

“The next day John [the Baptist] seethJesus coming into him, and saith,

12

Page 13: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

Behold the Lamb of God, which takethaway the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After mecometh a man which is preferredbefore me: for he was before me.And I knew him not: but that heshould be made MANIFEST TOISRAEL, therefore am I come baptiz-ing with water.” (emphasis added)

John 1:29-31

Did Christ fail in His mission? Did Hefail to make Himself known to Israel? Areall these prophecies of no effect? Did Hecome to Israel to turn them from theirsins? Was He made manifest in Israel, anddid Israel recognize Him as theirMessiah? The teaching in most churchestoday tells us, no, Israel rejected Christand turned away from Him. Then Christsent His apostles to some non-Israel peo-ple and they recognized Him.

This teaching refers to us — theChristian nations of Europe, America,Canada, etc. as non-Israelite people.Wherever Christianity is preached andbelieved, these teachers say, those are thepeople who were the non-Israelites butwho believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. InLuke twenty-four is the account of Christappearing after His resurrection to thedisciples on the road. As He did not revealHimself to them, they did not know whoHe was. He asked them why they were sosad of countenance. Not knowing Jesushad been resurrected, they answered:

“But we trusted that it had been hewhich should have redeemed Israel:and beside all this, to day is the thirdday since these things were done.”

Luke 24:21

These men were literally broken heart-ed and sorrowful. The man they thoughtwas going to redeem Israel had died.

What had they expected from Jesus? Onething — REDEMPTION FOR ISRAEL.Christ of course, was there alive, walkingalong with them and here is what He saidto them:

“O fools, and slow of heart to believeall that the prophets have spoken.”

Luke 24:25

He did not condemn them for beingsorrowful, thinking that Jesus had died.Nor did He condemn them for not know-ing that Christ was now alive. He con-demned them for NOT BELIEVINGWHAT THE PROPHETS HAD SPOKEN:that the Messiah would come and shedHis blood and be resurrected for theredemption of Israel.

The fact that they did not know per-sonally and physically that Jesus Christhad been resurrected was no excuse fortheir unbelief of the prophets. What iswrong with most of us is we do not believewhat the prophets have spoken.

What was prophesied about the LordJesus Christ and about Israel? In IsaiahChrist is speaking through the prophet toIsrael:

“Listen, O isles, unto me; and heark-en, ye people, from far; The Lord hathcalled me from the womb; from thebowels of my mother hath he mademention of my name,And he hath made my mouth like asharp sword; in the shadow of hishand hath he hid me. and made me apolished shaft; in his quiver hath hehid me;And said unto me. Thou art my ser-vant. O Israel. in whom I will be glori-fied.Then I said, I have laboured in vain, Ihave spent my strength for nought,

13

Page 14: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

and in vain: yet surely my judgment iswith the Lord, and my work with myGod.And now. saith the Lord that formedme from the womb to be his servant, tobring Jacob again to him. ThoughIsrael be not gathered. (the marginsays "that Israel may be gathered") yetshall I be glorious in the eyes of theLord. and my God shall be mystrength. And he said, It is a light thing thatthou shouldest be my servant to raiseup the tribes of Jacob, and to restorethe preserved of Israel: I will also givethee for a light to the Gentiles, thatthou mayest be my salvation unto theend of the earth.”

Isaiah 49:1-6

Jesus Christ. the Messiah, the oneprophesied here in these first six verses, was to come to restore Israel back to Godand be a light unto the Gentiles, ornations.

We are the People of Israel!

“My people (Israel) hath been lostsheep: their shepherds have causedthem to go astray, they have turnedthem away on the mountains: theyhave gone from mountain to hill, theyhave forgotten their restingplace.”

Jeremiah 50:6

Jeremiah goes on;

“Israel is a scattered sheep; the lionshave driven him away: first the kingof Assyria hath devoured him; (theAssyrian captivity) and last thisNebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hathbroken his bones.”

Jeremiah 50:17

Jeremiah prophesied of these two cap-tivities of Israel. They were God's sheepwho had been driven astray.

Ezekiel, another one of the majorprophets, said:

“My sheep wandered through all themountains, and upon every high hill:yea, my flock was scattered upon allthe face of the earth, and none didsearch or seek after them. . .. . .search my sheep, and seek themout.”

Ezekiel 34:6 & 11

The prophets say Israel is broken —they are lost sheep, scattered anddestroyed. God says He will seek out Hissheep:

“As a shepherd seeketh out his flock inthe day that he is among his sheepthat are scattered; so will I seek outmy sheep, and will deliver them out ofall places where they have been scat-tered in the cloudy and dark day.And I will bring them out from thepeople, and gather them from thecountries, and will bring them totheir own land, and feed them uponthe mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of thecountry.I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains ofIsrael shall their fold be: there shallthey lie in a good fold, and in a fatpasture shall they feed upon themountains of Israel.I will feed my flock, and I will causethem to lie down, saith the Lord God.I will seek that which was lost, andbring again that which was drivenaway, and will bind up that whichwas broken, and will strengthen thatwhich was sick.”

Ezekiel 34:12-16

No other people in the Holy Scriptureare called the Lord's sheep except the

14

Page 15: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

House of Israel. Just think of all thethings God is saying about the House ofIsrael--His sheep! He is going to be good tothem, give them their own land (or nation)where He regathers them and He is goingto feed them. They are going to be fed withthe Word of God and the truth of JesusChrist. God will do this--no one else.

In case you want to investigate theScripture references to SHEEP meaningISRAEL, here are some other references:Psalms 79:13, Psalm 95:7, Psalm 100:3and there are many other places. How didthe Lord Jesus Christ say His sheepwould react when they heard the Word ofthe Lord?

“I am the good shepherd: the goodshepherd giveth his life for the sheep.. .”

John 10:11

Just think of what you are told by somany churches today about who they callthe "sheep." Many churches have largearticles in their missionary magazinesabout the missions to the lost sheep of theHouse of Israel. They, then, tell us howthey are going over to Palestine andpreaching to the Jews. These churcheswrite long articles about how best to reacha Jew. They always refer to the Jews asthe lost sheep of the House of Israel. Youalmost-always conclude from these arti-cles that their results are nill. NOTHING.Most of them have not converted a Jew inthe last three hundred years. Yet, theystill think that those people are the lostsheep of the House of Israel. Christ saidthat His sheep would hear His voice.

Let us examine a few verses from theepistles so that you will understand thatthese letters are written to Israelites. Yes,I know, they are written to people inRome, Corinth, Greece, Ephesus and so

on. Too often we are given the understand-ing that these letters are written to so-called "Israelite gentiles." But, in each oneof the letters, you will find the writersidentify the people they are writing to asISRAELITES. For instance, in the sev-enth chapter of Romans, Paul is writing tothe people at Rome which is a long wayfrom old Judea. We know they werebelievers because they knew the Laws ofGod.

“Know ye not. brethren. (for I speak tothem that know the law)... “

Romans 7:1

Now, how in the world could some hea-then, non-Israelite people way over in thecity of Rome know anything about the lawof God? They were Israelites! Try going tosome aborigine in Australia and explain-ing the Law of God to him. They knownothing about it, of course — do you knowwhy? Because, God gave the.law ONLY toIsrael.

“He sheweth his word unto Jacob. hisstatutes and his judgments untoIsrael. He hath not dealt so with anynation: and as for his judgments, theyhave not known them.”

Psalm 147:19-20

In the first chapter of Romans, Paul iswriting to these same people who knewthe law and he says to them:

“Among whom are ye also the calledof Jesus Christ:To all that be in Rome. beloved of God.called to be saints: Grace to you andpeace from God our Father, and theLord Jesus Christ.”

Romans 1:6-7

“Called” is a word that all Christiansunderstand. When people come to Christ

15

Page 16: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

they imply that they were "called" of God.If they go into the ministry, they say theywere "called" into the ministry. It is aword unique in the relationship betweenGod and man.

In Romans, chapter eight, we read:

“And we know that all things worktogether for good to them that loveGod, to them who are the calledaccording to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he alsodid predestinate to be conformed tothe image of his Son, that he might bethe firstborn among many brethren.”

Romans 8:28-29

Who is Paul talking about? He is talk-ing about people that God foreknew andpredestinated to be the called of God. Doesthat sound like God changed horses inmidstream and picked another people? No, Paul is talking here about predestina-tion and the called of God.

Back in Isaiah, God is speaking toIsrael, and He says:

“Hearken unto me, O Jacob andIsrael, my called; I am he; I am thefirst, I also am the last.”

Isaiah 48:12

He identifies Israel by the name"called." In the same verse He identifiesHimself as "the first" and "the last" — aterm that Jesus Christ gives to Himself(Alpha and Omega) in the last chapter ofthe Bible.

The same God that tells Israel inIsaiah that they are "my called," is thesame God, in the form of Jesus Christ, who, in the New Testament, addressed thepeople who are "called"--the people whoknow the law.

People have asked me how to study theBible to get sense out of the wholeScripture from Genesis to Revelation. Iwould suggest that they first get aStrong's Concordance which lists everyword in the Bible, then look up one wordthat pertains to Christ or God — animportant word such as the word "called."Go through the Bible and find out everyplace that word is used. You will beamazed how quickly the Word of Godshows its absolute continuity — howeverything fits.

Reread the prophecy to Abrahamfound in Genesis.

“And God said unto Abraham, Let itnot be grievous in thy sight because ofthe lad (Ishmael) and because of thybondwoman; in all that Sarah hathsaid unto thee, hearken unto hervoice; for in ISAAC shall thy seed becalled.” (emphasis added)

Genesis 21:12

One cannot understand exactly whatGod meant until one realizes that theword "called" means CALLED TO GOD.Returning to the book of Romans, Paulexplains this verse in Genesis:

“Not as though the word of God hathtaken none effect, for they are not allIsrael, which are of Israel:Neither, because they are the seed ofAbraham, are they all children: but,In ISAAC (emphasis added) shall thyseed be called.” (emphasis added)

Romans 9:6-7

Here, centuries later, Paul, writing topeople way over in Rome, uses the prom-ise to Abraham that the seed of Isaacwould be the ones who would be called. Hetells the Romans that ''they are not allIsrael, which are of Israel," but "in ISAAC

16

Page 17: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

shall thy seed be called. "Not the sons ofIshmael, but the sons of Isaac — the liter-al, physical descendants of Isaac — arethe ones who would be called and the onesto whom Christ came. Called to what? —the adoption, the glory, the covenants, thegiving of the law, the service of God, andthe promises.

So many today take verse four and say:Yes, that's right — the Israelites, theJews, have all these other things, but wehave Jesus Christ. No, there is only onepeople of Israel and they are the sameones today as they were then.

Ask our fundamentalist brethren toexplain why we are called the Saxon peo-ple. Generally speaking, this is a termwidely-used by historians. Hebrew, asmany know, is written without vowels. So,if the "I" is dropped out of Isaac, what doyou have? Saxons — sons of Isaac. TheChristians of today are the physical, liter-al descendants of Isaac — Isaac sons orSaxons. That is what our people wereknown as, even at the time they came toAmerica.

Paul was explaining to the Romansthat these things that were applicable toIsrael were applicable, not to Ishmael, butto Isaac's sons. The sons of Isaac would bethe ones who would be called into theChristian faith.

It is a little hard for a fundamentalistto argue that the letter to the Hebrewswas written to anybody other thanIsraelitish Hebrews. In Hebrews Paulexplains the mission of Jesus Christ:

“And for this cause he (Christ) is themediator of the new testament, that bymeans of death, for the redemption ofthe transgressions that were underthe first testament, they which are

called might receive the promise ofeternal inheritance.”

Hebrews 9:15

Jesus Christ shed his blood for thetransgressions that were under theFIRST testament! Who was under thefirst testament? ONLY THE HOUSE OFISRAEL. You can read the Bible fromGenesis to Malachi and you will not find asingle verse that will tell you that any-body in the whole wide world was underthe old testament except Israel.

Why did Christ die for the redemptionof the transgressions that were under thefirst testament? So that "they which arecalled (Israel) might receive the promise ofeternal inheritance." Every Christianchurch in the nation that follows the Wordof God to some extent, recognizes that towhat we are called is the resurrection andeternal life in an everlasting kingdom. The first verse of James gives verificationas to whom it is written:

“James, a servant of God and of theLord Jesus Christ, to the 'TWELVETRIBES WHICH ARE SCATTEREDABROAD, greeting.” (emphasisadded)

James 1:1

How many times do you read articleswhich say that there were no Israelitesscattered abroad; the Jews were all inPalestine at the time of Christ? No, Jamesknew what he was talking about. He knewwho he was writing to and where theywere.

A new Bible translation, which is beingpromoted by Billy Graham and the rest ofthe so-called fundamentalists, haschanged the first verse of James to read:"to the Jewish Christians everywhere."They have absolutely-changed the entire

17

Page 18: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

meaning. The present propaganda is totry to convince all the Christians that allof the early believers were Jews. So, theyhave rewritten God's Bible and changed itso that wherever the word "Israel" is inthe Bible it reads instead to "JewishChristians," and, of course, it entirelychanges the meaning. No, James did notwrite to "Jewish Christians, " he wrote tothe twelve tribes which were scatteredabroad.

Peter, in writing to Christians, refersto them in this way:

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, tothe strangers scattered throughoutPontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, Elect according to tbeforeknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of theblood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you,and peace, be multiplied.”

1 Peter 1:1-2

Now, you could say that he was justwriting to those "Gentile" believers. But, ifwe look at verse nine of the second chap-ter, we will learn some other names hecalls them:

“But ye are a chosen generation, aroyal priesthood, an holy nation, apeculiar people; that ye should shewforth the praises of him who hathcalled you out of darkness into hismarvelious light.Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: whichhad not obtained mercy, but now haveobtained mercy.”

1 Peter 2:9-10

The fundamentalist ministers, withtheir great and glowing phrases, tell howwonderful it is that we Gentiles can now

have the mercy of God when we didn'thave it before. Isn't it strange that Peterwould write such things here, callingthese so-called Gentiles all of these fasci-nating titles: chosen generation, royalpriesthood, holy nation, peculiar peopleand those who had not had mercy beforebut who now have mercy?

Let's take a look at some more Bibleverses that use these names.

STRANGERS SCATTERED. Sometranslations use the word "dispersed". Ifyou locate, on a map, these places listed in1 Peter 1:1, you will find they are in thearea where Israel went into the Assyriancaptivity.

ELECT. Back in Isaiah 45:4 God says"Israel mine elect." Israel is the only peo-ple called "elect" in the Bible.

SANCTIFIED. In Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers, you will find that God wentinto great detail showing Israel how to besanctified through the shedding of theblood of the sacrifices. In the letter to theHebrews, Paul explained to the Israelitesthat they were now sanctified through theblood of the Lord Jesus Christ — the onlypeople in the Bible referred to as "sancti-fied".

CHOSEN. Deuteronomy chapter ten:

“Only the Lord had a delight in thyfathers to love them, and he chosetheir seed after them, even you aboveall people. as it is this day.”

Deuteronomy 10:15

And also in Psalm 135:

“For the Lord hath chosen Jacob untohimself. and Israel for his peculiartreasure.”

Psalm 135:4

18

Page 19: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

ROYAL PRIESTHOOD,HOLY NATION.Israel is called this in Exodus:

“And ye shall be unto me a kingdom ofpriests. and an holy nation. These arethe words which thou shalt speakunto the children of Israel.”

Exodus 19:6

PECULIAR PEOPLE.This is found twice in the book ofDeuteronomy:

“For thou art an holy people unto theLord thy God, and the Lord hath cho-sen thee to be a peculiar people untohimself, above all the nations that areupon the earth.”

Deuteronomy 14:2

“And the Lord hath avouched theethis day to be his peculiar people, ashe hath promised thee. . . “

Deuteronomy 26:18

Thou art my people

What was Peter actually writing aboutin 1 Peter 2:10?

“Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: whichhad not obtained mercy, but now haveobtained mercy.”

1 Peter 2:10

Peter, writing to the people he calls"strangers scattered abroad" tells themChrist is come; the resurrection has takenplace; the blood has been shed; Israel hasbeen redeemed. Now, you, which in timepast were not a people, are now the peopleof God. You, which in time past had notobtained mercy, have now obtained mercy.

Who was Peter writing to? He waswriting to the dispersed, lost sheep of the

House of Israel and they were being con-verted to Christianity. How long ago wasit? Nineteen hundred years ago.

If we take a look at Hosea, a prophetwith whom Peter was very familiar, wewill see that the House of Israel was sup-posed to be exactly what Peter wrote of inthe verse above. Hosea was told to take awife and have some children. Each childwas given a name that had a significantmeaning.

The first name signified the destruc-tion of the ten-tribed House of Israel inthe Assyrian captivity:

“And she conceived again, and bare adaughter. And God said unto him,Call her name Loruhamah: for I willno more have mercy upon the house ofIsrael; but I will utterly take themaway.. .Then said God, Call his nameLoammi: for ye are not my people, andI will not be your God.”

Hosea 1:6, 8-9

Here God states the other side of thecoin. He says, I will no longer have mercyon Israel; ye will not be my people and Iwill not be your God. But, the entire sec-ond chapter of Hosea is a prophecy ofsome twenty verses in which God says atsome future time He is going to call thesepeople back to him. He ends the chapterby saying:

“And I will sow her unto me in theearth; and I will have mercy upon herthat had not obtained mercy; and IWill say to them which were not mypeople, Thou art my people; and theyshall say, Thou art my God.”

Hosea 2:23

Here is an identical prophecy that itwas Israel who would not have obtained

19

Page 20: THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANTS

mercy, then, at some future time, Godwould say to them, I will have mercy onyou. It was Israel to whom God said, youare not my people (that is, you aredivorced) but at some future time wouldsay, "thou art my people", and they wouldsay, "thou art my God."

What is the difference betweenIshmael and Isaac and between Jacob andEsau? In Romans we read:

“As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. . . Thereforehath he mercy on whom he will havemercy, and whom he will be hard-eneth.”

Romans 9:13 & 18

This shows that it was Jacob-Israelwho was called and not Esau. Then Paulquotes the same verses that we read inHosea:

“As be saith also in Osee (Hosea), Iwill call them my people, which werenot my people; and her beloved, whichwas not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in theplace where it was said unto them, Yeare not my people; there shall they becalled the children of the living God.”

Romans 9:25-26

That verse is certainly coming truebecause all over this nation and otherAnglo-Saxon nations we are being told ina thousand different ways that we are notGod's people. They tell us to come toChrist and be saved so we can becomesons of the living God. The exact fulfill-ment of the prophecy is in us. Who are we?We are the descendants of Isaac and

Jacob. We are the people of Israel. We arethe dispersed ones — the ones to whichChrist came. We are the ones Christreferred to when he said: "My sheep knowmy voice and I know them. And they followme."

For 1900 years there has been only onerace of people upon this earth that haveturned and hearkened to the voice ofJesus. I know that we were in apostasy forhundreds of years. I know that the darkages overspread Europe when our peopledid not seem to have an understanding ofthe Lord Jesus Christ. But, I, also, knowsomething else: that wherever Jesus ispreached in Saxon nations, and it is givenpublicity, you can bring people in by thethousands to hear the Word of the Lord. There is no other place on this planetwhere you can gather people into church-es as they are gathered in Anglo-Saxonnations on Sunday morning.

The Anglo-Saxon people are beingtaught false doctrines. They are being liedto. Do you know what these Anglo-Saxonsare trying to do in spite of all this decep-tion? They are trying to hear the voice ofJesus. They are the only people on theface of the earth with this yearning forJesus burning in their breast. They arethe Israel people fulfilling all of theprophecies just as God said they would.

Yes, we are the elect, the "scatteredstrangers" now redeemed and regathered,"to whom pertaineth the adoption, and theglory, and the covenants, and the giving ofthe law, and the service of God, and thepromises."
