THE A5 AGENCY
ABOUTM&CO
M&CO started life with us as Murray & Company. They are one of the largest and oldest independent commercial mortgage
brokers in Canada -doing over $2 billion in business annually. They came to us to breathe new life and purpose into their
brand that was starting to be overshadowed by younger firms.
We went through an extensive branding project with them, and realized that they had an incredible story to tell that went
beyond low interest rates. They have had a loyal customer base that has been with them for decades -some since the first
day they started their business in 1948!
By focusing their messaging on the company they have keptthroughout the years, and by projecting a more sophisticated look, we positioned the company as the most experienced in their category with the longest track record of success. We rebranded Murray and Company as M&CO to give them a modern touch while still paying homage to their amazing
history.

DEERHURST RESORTHUNTSVILLE ON
M&CO was retained to arrange interim financing for the servicing of 39 single-family lots and the construction of 17 single-family golf cottages at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. A floating-rate loan facility of $8 million was arranged with a Schedule B Canadian commercial bank that was to be drawn down against construction costs.

Phase II of Pier 27 is a 290-unit residential condominium project located on Toronto’s waterfront, just east of Yonge Street. M&CO was successful in arranging a $127 million conventional construction loan for the project with a Canadian pension fund.

Ce projet d'aménagement de copropriétés comprend deux tours qui seront situées à l'intersection des rues Bay et College, au centre-ville de Toronto. M & CIE a obtenu un prêt à la construction assuré par la SCHL de 92 millions de dollars auprès d'une banque de commerce canadienne pour la tour de 664 unités.

Situé à l'intersection des rues Wellington Ouest et Bathurst, au centre-ville de Toronto, ce projet comprend 435 unités résidentielles ainsi qu'un hôtel-boutique de 102 chambres. Vinyl Xpress came to the A5 Agancy with a bit of an identitycrisis. They were very well known in their industry as vinyl
experts, but wanted to grow their brand into the large formatprinting and signage industries. The only problem: they
wanted to do business with larger brands from the get-go.
After extensive research we decided to do something boldfor them: position them as the go-to printer for established
brands and the creative agencies that service them.
By focusing their brand on their desired niche, we strippedaway everything that didn't tell their story of BIG, and BOLD
printing services.
We updated their look totally, and shortened their name toVX to help them project an image of more than just vinyl.
Today, VX is doing so well they are moving into larger o�cesto keep up with all of the work!

Heidary Health & My Health Report did not exist beforetheir engagement with the A5 Agency. They arrived at ourdoors needing a brand that would capture the attention ofthe business world, and needing to refine their message to
maintain the attention busy consumers.
Originally they envisioned just one brand being able to doboth, but as we discovered during our branding project thiswasn't to be the case. We recommended to them that theybreak up their company into two: one for businesses and
one for consumers.
We laser targeted their images and messaging to ensure thattheir desired audience would immediately understand their
value proposition and connect with the brand story they weretelling.
We christened the business focused company as HeidaryHealth (named after the founder), and gave them an imagethat immediately told the viewer what they were all about.We named their consumer focused company as My HealthReport to give a more friendly image to what is actually a
serious subject matter.
Each brand had very specific messaging and calls to action,and each brand focused on their unique selling propositions.
Today, Heidary Health is having its best year ever and isworking with some of the largest brands in Canada and My
Health Report is gaining a strong following amongstCanadians that want to learn more about their health.

When Holly Sharma first came to us, she wanted to open upan eyewear store that sold handmade frames. She selectedthe A5 Agency to do her branding and positioning to get her
new business o� the ground.
We came back to her with some unexpected findings: therewere already a ton of stores that sold handmade eyewearand there would be no competitive benefit for her to open
one up.
She asked us to come up with a solution. We suggested toher to take a risk and do something no one has done before
in Toronto: an eyewear store just for women.
HOLLY is the eyewear store just for women featuring thelargest selection of frames exclusively for women.
With a fashion forward look, and a timeless feel, HOLLY hashad great success in its short life. The radical positioning wesuggested for them is paying o� and they are getting a great
deal of attention in the industry.

Spotter started life with us as Double Vision -a video securityfirm in Toronto, Ontario. They came to the A5 Agency to helpthem create a brand that would propel their business to new
success.
When we went through the branding process with them, onething became very obvious: the name Double Vision was
causing all kinds of problems with their messaging.
We came back to them with a recommendation to hone theirmessage to focus in on what they do best: they spot trouble
before trouble spots you. That day SPOTTER was born.
Their look and feel is decidedly modern and friendly as a starkcontrast to their competition. They messaging is lighthearted
and punchy in comparison to the overly serious tone theircompetitiors often take.
The result has been a brand that is already turning headsbefore we even launch their new website, and a client that
could not be happier with the results!

Chit Chats Express came to us because their brand neededclarity and focus to help them grow in the highly competitive
world of couriers and shipping.
Their original message was one of "we do it all", while wesuggested on focusing in on their most unique and valuable
service: low cost shipping to the US.
With a clearer message, they needed a clearer image. Wedeveloped a logo that told their story of being the path to theUS for Canadian businesses, and selected a colour scheme
that worked well on both sides of the border.
We took their original, basic website and turned it intosomething with pep and life, and with strong focus on the
friendliness that they are known for.
Today, Chit Chat's business is trucking along and breakingthe speed limits of success!
