    Love (Matthew 22)

22:35 One of them, a lawyer, asked him aquestion, testing him.

22:36 "Teacher, which is the greatestcommandment in the law?"

22:37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall lovethe Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all yourmind.'

22:38 This is the first and greatcommandment.

22:39 A second likewise is this, 'You shalllove your neighbor as yourself.'

    Patience (Longsuffering)

We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. But in all things wecommend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, indistresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; bypurity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love.

    Kindness

The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Kindness, though, implies a more active expression of love toward God and fellow man. Bothpatience and kindness are bound in the one qualitylove.

In most cases, kindness is not beyond any of us because it usually costs nomoney. It may take the sacrifice of time and energy. It may require thediscipline to be thoughtful of others' needs and to make the effort to act.How much is required to cultivate smiling rather than frowning? to pay a

visit? to say a word of encouragement or comfort? to show friendliness by

    warmly and sincerely shaking hands?

Kindness sows the seeds that can only bear good fruit. (Think about EBAyour learnt from the 7 Habits)
