Guideline for Poster Presentation

All presenters must register for the Congress and pay the registration fee.

1. You have complete freedom in displaying your information in figures, tables, text, photography and so forth. The presentation must cover the same material as mentioned in the abstract. Briefly describe procedures and materials. Use generic names throughout. All compounds and drugs must be identified. You are required to attach a small photograph of yourself to the poster so that Congress participants may recognize you as the presenter.

2. Prepare all illustration neatly and legibly beforehand, in size sufficiently visible to be read at a distance of 1 meter. It would be helpful to viewers if sequence to be followed is indicated by numbers, letter or arrows.

All visitors to Indonesia must possess passport which is valid for at least 6 months. The government of Indonesia grants visa on arrival to the following countries only : United

States of America, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Finland, Hungary, England, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Norway, France, Poland, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Taiwan. Other countries require visa arrangement. Please contact the local Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your country. (Note : No visa required for ASEAN countries)

Indonesia’s climate is d e f i n i t e l y t r o p i c a l . Temperatures range from 21 degrees to 33 degrees Celsius. Shirt sleeves and

cotton clothing are recommended. Smart casual clothing is acceptable in most places.

Indonesian currency is called Rupiah (Rp). Most foreign currencies are accepted for exchange to

Rupiah. Major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Diners Club are widely accepted. Tourist can use their credit cards to withdraw cash from the ATM machines. BOGOR BOTANICAL GARDENS

Located at the heart of Bogor, it is a world class botanical gardens, covering an area of around 85 hectares. Officially opened by the Dutch in 1817, it was from these gardens that early researchers developed various crops such as tea, cassava, tobacco and cinchona. The park is still a major center for botanical research in Indonesia. More than 15,000 plant species grow in this garden, including 400 kinds of palm and more than 5,000 kinds of orchid varieties from various regions in Indonesia. Many of the trees are centuries old.
