THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS On 21 June 2019 the Fifth International Yoga Day has been celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. All the teachers gathered at the Jhalawar stadium at 6:30am in the morning. The students and teachers practiced for 2 hours till 8:30am. Pallavan School started yoga practices in the morning assembly in the light of the first INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY which was initiated, pioneered, emphasized and advocated by Honorable Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi and celebrated on 21st June 2019 and tell us about the benefits of yoga and make the world avail of this great achievement of India to keep physically fit, mentally healthy and spiritually awakened to say no to ailments.

  • THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS

    On 21 June 2019 the Fifth International Yoga Day has been celebrated

    with great enthusiasm and zeal. All the teachers gathered at the Jhalawar

    stadium at 6:30am in the morning. The students and teachers practiced

    for 2 hours till 8:30am.

    Pallavan School started yoga practices in the morning assembly in the

    light of the first INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY which was initiated,

    pioneered, emphasized and advocated by Honorable Prime Minister of

    India Sri Narendra Modi and celebrated on 21st June 2019 and tell us

    about the benefits of yoga and make the world avail of this great

    achievement of India to keep physically fit, mentally healthy and

    spiritually awakened to say no to ailments.

  • They were explained that yoga helps in maintaining not only physical and

    mental health but also a healthy social Area of Development for life. The

    teachers were taught various Aasanas starting with warming up and

    stretching followed by the series of Padmasana, Paschimottasans, Pawan

    Muktasana, Vajrasana, Dhanurasana, Sarvangasana, Suryanamashkara

    Halasana, Bhujangasana, and ending with Shawavasana and yognidra.

    After Aasanas session teachers were also taught the Pranayama – For

    Longevity.

  • As soon as the School reopened the School Principal Ms. Punam Shringi

    implemented regular yoga practice every day for every one which

    continued till 21st June. A zero hour has been created to facilitate yoga

    and train students how to do it and educate them about its benefits.

    Despite many teachers well tuned with various aspects, dimensions and

    practices of yoga, the school management had appointed one yoga

    teachers Ms.Vinita Kasera to help the students and teachers learn yoga to

    keep physically fit and mentally health.

    Keeping the spirit of Physical Development according to the 5 Areas of

    Development propounded by our founder director Mr.Arun Kapur,.

    Addressing the teachers on the occasion, the Principal appealed to the

    teachers to include yoga in their daily routine for its wholesome and

    salubrious effects on the mind, body and soul and also they have to

    teaching the students for their better performance.

  • The yoga teacher discussed and demonstrated some ways and dimensions

    of different types of pranayama. She reckoned many benefits of early

    rising and practicing yoga. Speaking to the assembly she also pointed out

    the contribution of yoga in maintaining fitness and good health and how it

    helps students to memorize something and understand a concept and its

    context. She said that yoga is the scientific way of living healthy and

    increasing life expectancy. It keeps the physician away and helps various

    parts of the body perform their functions smoothly in proper coordination.

    It strengthens the immune system and does internal cleansing of blood,

    body parts, body systems, organs, veins & arteries. It brings a divine glow

    on the face and makes us wise.
