I Corinthians 12:4-7(NKJV):

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of

ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the spirit is

given to each other for the profit of all.”

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but ex-horting one another, and so much the more

as you see the Day approaching.

yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time”~I

Peter 5:6.

The Press release goes on to outline his many achieve-ments, accolades, and honors. But most importantly, it shares his love for God, love for his wife & family, and tenacious commitment to do the will of God. He and his wife have been married for twelve years and have ten children. Togeth-er, God has truly blessed them to be a blessing to many that they have touched. They are also grateful for the great men and women of God that God has placed around them. To God be the glory!

Per the Press Release that was issued this past mid-November...amid the politi-cal climate following one of the most important elections in the history of our country, there was a vision among us inside the Body of Christ. It stated the following:

The All About Christ Network of Churches & Ministries In-ternational has submitted the following announcement: Houston, Texas pastor, An-drew Watkins, Sr., Ph.D., has been selected as the Bishop-Elect of the Fourth Ecclesias-tical Jurisdiction of the All About Christ Network. It goes on to say that he was presented with this honor on

November 10, 2012.

Dr. Watkins is the Senior Pastor and Founder of New Directions Christian Fellowship Church cen-trally located in the Greenspoint Community of North Houston.

The General

Presiding Bishop, Bishop Robert Durgan of Pomona, California, also appointed Dr. Watkins as the Chief Operations Officer over the entire organization as well as the Vice Bishop over Internation-al Affairs. God has honored His Word for Dr. Watkins: “Humble

This introduction to Bishop Watkins has urged many to ask him the question: What do you believe?” So, we asked him and he answered. The following outlines his be-lief as we voice: Bishop Wat-kins Speaks. “The Bible says in I Corinthi-ans 12:5, ‘There are differ-ences of ministries, but the same Lord.’ It is the purpose

of the All About Christ fellow-ship to identify and recognize many men and women who are leading the Body of Christ. This recognition will serve to unify them and connect them to bring about a covering, fel-lowship, growth, development and shared resources. We strive to be an ecumenical community with an interde-

nominational demographic.”

Ultimately, what Bishop Wat-kins believes is that there must be a relation with Christ in order to have a true connection with the rest of the ecumenical body.

He says, “I believe that God will strengthen us as He uni-fies us for His glory.”

Dear Heavenly Father, Your word in Romans 10:9 says, ”That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your

heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” So Father, I come, humbled before you with a sincere heart, confessing with my mouth and believ-

ing in my heart that you died for my sins and was raised from the dead.

Father, I receive your most precious gift to me today, right now, even though I am so unworthy. And now I know that I am saved. Lord, I thank you for your love

and for your mercy. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Amen.

secration of Bishop Andrew Watkins.. This event will include an entire week-end celebrating this special time..

According to the meaning of consecra-tion, Bishop Watkiins is being set apart and devoted to the worship and service of God. This man of God has been tried and proven as one already set apart for the dedication to God and to God’s peo-ple. Just like in the book of Exodus, chapter 13, when the tribe of Levi were set apart for the workings, the leader-ship, and service to the children of Isra-

el, we know that Bishop Watkins’ is up for the task for leading leaders.

He is spiritually gifted in discernment, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, administration, teaching, and preach-ing the Word of God.

We hope that as many as possible will join us January 18-20, 2013 for a great time in the Lord. For more details, please click here.

leadership that will build a strong foundation for the Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdic-tion. Walking in wisdom, lead-ership and accountability for all is of the utmost importance. Therefore, Bishop Watkins is putting a team of Suffragen Bishops and experts in place for our work:

His cabinet will include Suffra-gan Bishops that will lead aux-iliaries such as Intercessory Prayer, International Ecumeni-cal Outreach, and Church Eco-

nomic Growth, just to name a few. He will also be surround-ed by Overseers and a Pastor’s Council Advisory Board. His cabinet will also include an Ordination Board and a Chris-tian Education Suffragen Bish-op.

Please be sure to get your January issue of The 4th Mag-azine where the cabinet will be featured.

In Proverbs 24:6 it reads, “For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multi-tude of counselors there is safety.” (NKJV) It is according to this Word, Bishop Watkins is surrounding himself with peo-ple who love God, who walk in wisdom, and will impart wis-dom upon Bishop Watkins in his time of need.

This is a principle that the All About Christ Network truly adheres to. And, in doing so, has built an infrastructure of

The Shepherd’s Friend: The Shepherd’s Friend Ministry is a One-on-One, confidential counseling service to the leaders of this network. Bishop Durgan believes that if leaders can have an outlet where they can go with issues they have, deal with them privately, and avoid any possible embarrassment to the Christian community. The Pastoral Crisis Fund: The Pastoral Crisis Fund is a tool that members of our network can use in times of crisis; In an emergency situations where they do not have the resources to respond to emergencies at that moment. The Church Development: The Church Development Fund is a tool our members can use to help and/or assist in down-payment of a lease opportunity for church services and small contractor jobs that are not major, but necessary in order to help the forward progression of the church. Church Growth & Development: This ministry is to help the pastor take the church to the next level and to re-launch the ministry in a more excellent way. We, in this network, have leaders that can turn your ministry around and have the ex-perience to do it by working with some of the well-known, Christian ministries that have congregations of over 10,000+ members. Networking Opportunities: The All About Christ Network promotes within the ranks of the fellowship among all leaders and pastors that are members of this network. We highlight all our leaders and pastors so everyone will have an oppor-tunity to share. We not only do this for the leaders at the top of the network, but even leaders and pastors of small churches and ministries just starting out. The ACCN Television Network: The All About Christ Television Network is a 24-hour/7-days/week broadcasting of the ministries within our network. Has availability over the internet with the capability to have your ministry or Sunday morn-ing services broadcast live, with VOD option. All About Christ Bible College: The All About Christ Bible College is an accredited place of learning. And, where members of our network will receive discounts that will be competitive to other institutions of higher learning. Weekly Grant Opportunities: From the Headquarters Office, members will receive reports of grants that are available to churches and ministries. This is published as a service to our pastors and leaders. We also connect our pastors and leaders with grant writers who are proven in their field and know how to get grants approved. The All About Christ Pastoral Symposium: This is where a pastor who is just coming into the pastoral ministry, needs and receives direction and guidance for the planting of the new church. And, also for the established pastor who would like to be informed on the information that is current and most relevant to the generation that we serve today. All About Christ College of Bishops, Overseers, and Adjutants: This is a ministry where the leaders can come and learn how to walk circumspectly, in and out among God’s people, while developing proper protocol in ministry. We can also guide the leadership in where the best deals can be found on vestments, rings, and clergy attire. Promoting and Lifting Up Leadership Within our Network: We do this through our National and Jurisdictional meetings held annually. In this network, we prefer to use our leadership that God has blessed us with. This is done in order to promote and encourage them as they serve the Body of Christ. All About Christ Publishing House: This is where we publish our tools for learning with Sunday School books and other material for development and growth in the Christian life. This also includes “How-to” books for ministry enhancement. All About Christ Ways & Means Ministry: This is a ministry whose main responsibility is to find effective ways to raise money for the pastors and leaders inside our network. There are many opportunities available, but not all are effective in what a church or ministry may be trying to achieve. Local & National Advertisement Campaign: At present, this is done with two magazines. One is called “Southern Califor-nia Gospel” for those who want to market their ministry in the Southern California area. The other is “The Saints”, which is a nationally distributed magazine across the nation to approx. 500,000 people who are looking for your brand of min-istry. All About Christ Discount Cards: With the AACN Membership Discount Card, our members have access to partnerships the network has made for the benefit of giving our members discounts at local retail establishments across the country. Discounts on Men & Women Suits: All About Christ has teamed up with a national distributor for men and women’s fashion suits and dresses. Discounts on Prescription Drugs: All About Christ has teamed up with a national provider of discounts on over-the-counter prescription drugs where members can receive from 10 to 80 percent offontheirprescriptions.A Number of Other Benefits We Have: Ordination and Consecration services 501(c)3 help with paperwork, Vision cast-ing, Apostolic covering, Mentoring, Five-Fold Ministry Training Classes, Church Planting Services, Grant Writing, Book Publishing Services, Welcome Teams to welcome new ministries, All About Christ Sports Ministry where churches can compete with one another in various team sports.

BELOW ARE 7 RULES OF LEADERSHIP & AC-COUNTABILITY SO THAT WE ALL MAY SAY AND SPEAK THE SAME THINGS TO PROMOTE UNITY AND COHESIVENESS IN THE NETWORK: 1. As a member of this network, I will,

at all times, keep high moral stand-ards and will always strive to have peace with all men.

2. To the best of my ability, I will obey and submit in love to those that God has placed in my life to oversee growth and development.

3. If at anytime issues come up with any of the other members of the network, I will first try and reconcile with the person, then advise my Ju-risdictional Bishop of the issue; then, if the issue is still not resolved, then I will make a formal, written complaint

to the Office of the Secretary Gen-eral so that the Presiding Bishop’s office can address the issues.

4. I will respect both men and women in the ministry and will treat all leadership the way I would have wanted to be treated. I will not be a backbiter or a talebearer. I will entreat all with kindness and godly leadership regardless of the minis-try size or economic status.

5. I will do my best to attend all net-work national functions when pos-sible and Jurisdictional functions; And, will not, to the best of my ability, not schedule any services or meetings that will conflict with attendance. If, by some chance this cannot be avoided, then I will

send representation to the events to represent me both in person and finan-cially.

6. I will endeavor to be a student of God’s Word and be willing to learn new things in jurisdictional and national settings. I will not cause confusion or discord because of a difference of faith and or ideas concerning doctrine and/or teaching from scripture.

7. I agree to these rules of engagement with my signature (per actual docu-ment).

Dear Future AACN Member:

Thank you so much for subscribing to this Special Membership Edition of The 4th magazine. Therefore, we are grateful for your consideration of membership to The All About Christ Network of Churches & Ministries International. We praise God for the excellent men and women in the Body of Christ who seek to come into

union with our fellowship and unified body of Believers.

It is the purpose of the AACN to help foster Support, Growth, and Development among Churches, Non-Church Ministries, and Individual Leaders. We strive to provide a place where leaders can go to be strengthened, to use their gifts, and to encourage one another. It is not our purpose to govern your church or ministry...Only to be a blessing, provide a covering, offer assistance if needed, share our resources, and provide leadership. We are an organization that stands on the Word of God outlined specifically in I Corin-

thians 12:4-7(NKJV):

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of

activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the spirit is given to each other for the profit of all.”

It is our prayer that you share our vision. It is our desire that your consideration will transform into an affirmative decision, particularly after you have reviewed and completed the enclosed information:

reach Director, Dr. Janet Manning.

Found at www.iamsavednow.com, their Mission Statement is as follows:

As Christians, our mission is to build a

strong fellowship of believers in Christ who will maintain their faith and be con-

stantly equipped for ministry; To prayer-fully meet the needs of those who are

lost, overlooked, and/or discouraged; To spread the Good News; To feed the hun-

gry; To clothe the naked; To visit those

who are sick and in prison; To foster the education of children and youth; And to

minister to the spiritual and physical needs of all persons. This will be done

regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or

social status; Teaching them to walk victoriously in the Spirit of our Loving

God.

Paramountly, New Directions is a praying church. They are a congregation that prays daily on their prayer line every morning, Monday through Friday, Satur-day evenings, and of course as they wor-ship together each and every Sunday. We praise God for what He is doing at New Directions Christian Fellowship!

It is here, in Ministry Spotlight, that we are committed to featuring an out-standing member within our jurisdic-tion and the special things that are going on in their ministry and their leadership. In our very first issue, we are behooved to feature the church ministry of our beloved bishop in our brand new jurisdiction: Bishop Andrew Watkins, Sr., Ph.D. and his congrega-tion, New Directions Christian Fellow-ship Church in Houston, Texas.

Originally named, New Directions Word of Life Church, the church has been on the move since February 2006. With all of the struggles that go with build-ing a brand new church, particularly in a city that seems to have one on every corner, they have remained faithful.

This church has truly been blessed and has been able to be a blessing to their community. From the first year, they have been all about outreach. From giving to families at Christmas-time clothes, food and toys to passing out the Word of God to the tune of 48,000 Bibles since its inception.

The church has served as a satellite location for the Christian Bible Institute & Seminary, a host to other community organizations, and a place of refuge for those who are hun-gry, in need of shelter, a house of prayer, a place to receive counsel, and a host of other needs that have been met. But, most im-portantly, the Word of God is taught through the teaching and preaching of Bishop Wat-kins and those who are in ministry under him.

New Directions Christian Fellowship Church was founded as a daughter-church to New Direction Christian Fellowship Church in Stockton, California under the late Bishop Dorsey W. McCullough, that was founded in November 2005. (Currently, Bishop McCullough has been succeeded by his wife, Pastor Loyce McCullough,)

Some of the other ministries that go on in the church are the Anointed Praise Team singers, the Anointed Praise Dancers, team of ministers, deacons, prophets, prophetess-es and evangelists who are actively in train-ing. In order to see their plan of action and upcoming ministries, please read the fea-tured article: A Lesson in Outreach by Out-

Saturday after worship services. We are sheltering the homeless. In the past 6 months, we have helped to shelter 30 families. We are providing meals for needy families during the holi-days. We help with providing social services referrals. Bibles are given out to and available for anyone who needs one. What can you do? How can you actively reach out in your community? Start a pantry program in your church or look for models of things that are already being done. Below are things we are planning to do. What we are planning Community Resource Room Christian Bookstore Recording Studio CSI (Christian Social Interac-

tion) Room Transitional Living Food Pantry If you have any questions or would like to discuss ideas of what you would like to do, please contact me, Dr. Janet Manning at: [email protected].

What is Outreach? Outreach is an extension of God’s love through human interaction. It is scripturally based and is required of us per the following. Matthew 25:35 says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to vis-it you?” Why do we need out-reach? Outreach is the path through which churches interact with the community. It resides in and introduce the love of God. What is the Purpose? The Purpose of Outreach is to minister to the community at large; to disciple, to spread the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ; and to be obedi-ent to His Word.

What is the Mission? As Christians, our mission is to build a strong fellowship of be-lievers in Christ who will maintain their faith and be constantly equipped for ministry; To prayer-fully meet the needs of those who are lost, overlooked, and/or discouraged; To spread the Good News; To feed the hungry; To clothe the naked; To visit those who are sick and in prison; To foster the education of children and youth; And to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of all persons. This will be done regard-less of age, ethnicity, gender, or social status; Teaching them to walk victoriously in the Spirit of our Loving God.

What we have done: Since 2006 as a result of our outreach and connection in the community, we have provided over 1,400 meals at Thanksgiv-ing and over 1,400 meals and presents at Christmas. On a reg-ular basis we are feeding in our churches every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday after worship services. For the past 3 years, we have provided families in need with over 1,500 back-packs during our annual back to school bash. Our greatest joy has been to spread the good news of Jesus Christ by giving over 48,000 bibles in 6.5 years.

What we are doing now: As an ongoing practice, we are feeding in our churches every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and

Thank you for worshiping with us. We pray that all your needs are met for you and your family and that God continuously blesses you as you walk in obedience, imitating the life of Christ. We praise God for you, your life, and the plans God has made for you.

For more about Bishop Watkins, please read featured article, A Man Apart, A Man of God: Introducing Bishop Andrew Watkins, Sr., Ph.D….

Along with the featured article in Ministry Spotlight, we are commit-ted to coupling it with a Spotlight on the Pastor. This is particularly for the Church-Ministry member. Thus, in this very first spotlight, we would like to feature the senior pastor of the church in the Ministry Spotlight of this issue: New Direc-tions Christian Fellowship Church. That featured pastor is our bishop-elect of the Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the All About Christ Network, Bishop Andrew Watkins, Sr., Ph.D.

The majority of this article simply quotes Bishop Watkins per the following message:

“Dear Christian Family, Members & Friends! To God be the glory for all that He has done, all that He is doing, and all that He is going to do for the building up of His king-dom. I bring you greetings in the mighty, precious, name of Jesus, our Lord and our Saviour. ‘For this is the day the LORD has made; We

will rejoice and be glad in it.’ (Psalm 118:24) We are so excited about the Lord and all that He is doing in this min-istry, New Directions Christian Fellow-ship Church, ‘A Christian Fellowship Center’.

“Giving God all glory, honor and praise, I am humbled to be used by God in such a mighty way as pastor and founder of this church. We are a ministry that truly believes in the power of prayer, the teachings of Jesus Christ using the Holy Bible, and the Help and the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Our prayer is that the presence of the Trinity is always present in our worship, praise and fellowship.

“We ask that you please pray for this ministry as God uses us to help meet the needs of others. Pray that God sends anointed workers for His vine-yard. Pray that sincere believers in Christ will come to New Directions Chris-tian Fellowship Church to maintain their faith and be constantly equipped for ministry developing to be prayerful in meeting the needs of those who are lost, overlooked, and/or discouraged; To spread the Good News; To feed the hungry; To clothe the naked; To visit

In this section of our publication, we are committed to featuring the spouse or one who is in ministry partnership with the fea-tured pastor or ministry leader. Hence, the following is a message from Bishop Wat-kins’ wife, First Lady Dorceia J. Watkins: “Dear Body of Believers! It my pleasure to greet you in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! On behalf of Bishop Watkins, our family, and our church,

New Directions Chris-tian Fellowship Church, we are hum-bled by this oppor-tunity to share with the Body of Christ. We thank you for choosing New Direc-tions Christian Fel-lowship Church to be

a blessing and a hope to someone today. It is our pleasure to encourage and in-spire our brothers and sisters in Christ to help somebody.

“Our prayer is: ‘Lord, send us someone that we can help that can help us.’ So, we pray that we are a blessing as we re-ceive a blessing from on high each and everyday. We want to encourage you experience God in personal, intimate worship in your quiet time each day. We also want to encourage you to walk in obedience by worshiping in your local church by follow what God says in His Word, that we ought not forsake the as-sembly of saints. But, we must come to-gether to encourage one another showing love one toward another as we ought.

Please keep us in your prayers that we re-main encouraged as God uses this ministry to find those who are lost and overlooked, those who are seeking to do His will, and for the maintenance of the Saints. We are so excited, ignited, and all fired-up to work towards the building up of His kingdom.

“If ever you are need for prayer, encourage-ment, or just plain in need, please call us. And if you cannot reach us, please remem-ber that you can always call upon our Mas-ter. For His word says that He shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory. He commands that we cast all of our cares upon Him, knowing that He cares for us. So, I just want to encourage you my sis-ter, my brother. We love you and God loves you so much more.” To reach Lady Dorceia: [email protected]
