President’s Message Greetings CCTH Members! August is almost upon us and we have had an excellent summer at your club, despite the attempts by Mother Nature to “dampen” our fun with all the rain. The leadership team continues to impress with excellent events that are very well attended. Our membership drives the past two years have resulted in many younger families joining, which is evident at the pool and throughout our club. The current membership drive ends soon – and I don’t expect such a good deal to be around next year – so if you know someone thinking of joining – please contact Abby. Congratulations to Gary Behan! He recently was re-certified as a CCM as he successfully completed all the require-ments for this designation.

Dave Williams Club President

After the success of the Orin Swift wine dinner, we are already looking forward to the next one! So, please mark you calendar for September 10th and make your reservations early. Look for more

details including the featured wines and menu in the upcoming email blasts and the September Chatter.

From the Desk of Gary Behan

It’s August already! Wow, I can’t believe how fast the last 4 months have gone by. With that being said, there is still time for more good times at CCTH in the upcoming months to enjoy. You will find more details of these upcoming events in the Chatter. At the half way point of the season, I would like to thank a few people for their efforts in making the club the success that it is. First of all, I would like to thank the board of directors and all those members who are on one of the club’s committees and volunteer their time each month. They help keep me informed of items that are on member’s minds so that we can address them. I’d like to thank Kyle Miller, Brad Pugh, and their staffs for a great golf season. With all the rain there was this summer, it was amazing how the Member-Guest Tournament was completed with the rain and the condition of the course. Obviously, a huge thank you to Chef Shelby and Jared for the new items they keep coming up with to give the membership many different dining and wine options. I think they set the bar very high with the last Orin Swift Wine Dinner. They will need to dig deep to top that one on September 10th, our next scheduled wine dinner. I am sure they are up for the challenge. Also, thanks to Mike Williams and the pool staff this summer. It’s only getting better with the pool and the programs. Water babies was a big success and the adjustment of hours on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights to take care of the membership was flawless. I have had a lot of positive comments on the guards and how well they watch the pool with a smile and a great attitude. Plus a BIG thanks to the over 100 members who help us grow the club this year. On July 31st, we will end our membership drive and I think we will exceed all expectations with over 55 new members added since February 2015. I can’t thank the membership enough for going out and helping us grow the club. We currently have 415 total members. One of projects that we are working on is the new chipping green to the right of the driving range. Brad hopes to have this ready for practice for the 2016 Member-Guest. We will also be working on new programs for 2016. So if you have any ideas, please let me know. I am sending out a short survey in the July statements and I would appericate your feedback when you receive the survey. I hope that you are enjoying the summer, the CLUB, your friends, and the efforts the entire CCTH team is putting forth for you.

Hope to see you soon at your CLUB!

Dining Room Dish

With the increase in membership we have seen a spike in participation in all aspects of the club, from the

pool to the golf course, to the dining room. While we love seeing all of the activity, in order to provide you,

our members, with the best possible dining experience and service it has become imperative that we receive

reservations for all dining activities including Sunday night music. We appreciate your willingness to observe

this request.

THANK YOU! For Making Our Membership Promotion A Success

As we come to the conclusion of our “4-3-2-1 Membership Promotion,” we would like to express

our gratitude towards each new member who joined our club family. We hope this will become a
