He spent 8 seasons in the majors, three with Milwaukee (2006- 2008). With the Brewers, Tony batted .248, with 60 hits, 23 runs, 6 doubles, 3 triples, 15 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. Jason Kendall was signed by the Brewers as a free agent in 2007. He spent 15 seasons in the majors, 2 with Milwaukee (2008-2009). With the Brewers, Jason batted .244 and had 236 hits. In 2008, he led the National League with a caught stealing percentage of 42.7. Rick Sweet has been involved in professional baseball for over 40 years. Following the 1988 season, he was traded to the California Angels for Gus Polidor. Bill spent the final two years of his career with California (1989-1990). The highs, the lows, but they got it done. They were as close to being a family as any Brewers team could be in my years broadcasting. Rick Sweet has been involved in professional baseball for over 40 years. He spent 3 seasons in the majors (1978, 1982-1983) with the Padres, Mets, and Mariners. Since 2015, Rick’s been managing the Brewers’ Triple-A affi liate, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
