The 1 st Announcement INVITATION As the President of the Plant Oxygen Group (POG) of Society for Free Radical Research- Europe (SFRR-E) and on behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I am delighted to extend to you an invitation to attend the 11 th International Conference on Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species in Plants. The conference will be held on July 17-19 th , 2013, at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences - SGGW (WULS-SGGW), Poland. The Warsaw University of Life Sciences - SGGW is the largest agricultural university in Poland. Its almost 200-years academic tradition and youthful charm along with the historic and modern buildings set in beautiful scenery create one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland. The Royal Castle in The Old Town and many other notable buildings are symbols of its long and rich history. The Local and International Organizing Committees will do its best to make the conference scientifically valuable and socially enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you in Warsaw 2013! CONFERENCE FORMAT

The conference will welcome posters and oral presentations. The lectures will be presented by

selected keynote and invited speakers who provide state-of-the art overviews of main topics in

focus.

The detailed program will be published in a “short” format and the completed Book of Abstracts will

be available just on a USB (included in fee).

The official conference language will be English. No translation facilities will be provided.

ACCOMMODATION

An academia hotel and student residence (less expensive) are located within walking distance of

the conference venue. Other hotels (more comfortable and more expensive) are located closer to

the center of the city in the neighborhood of Palace on Water in Łazienki and conveniently reached

by bus or taxi.

EVENTS

A range of exciting tours will be offered during the time of your stay in Warsaw. A post-conference

tours will be organized for those who want to see the most important and historical parts of Poland.

Detailed information concerning the conference, scientific and social programmes, fee and

payment account, accommodation, abstracts and posters preparation will be included in the

second and final announcements.
