Jesus:“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And

except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” –

Matthew 24 : 21, 22.

P r e f a c e

Uring His missionary work in the Palestine, Jesus had ever warned His followers in regard to the coming tribulation, which was yet far

away in the future. However, according to Jesus, the tribulation was to be so great, such as was not since the beginning of creation of the earth to that time, no, nor ever shall be. Every student of the Bible prophecy should have unavoidably known of the great horrifying event in the history, because anyhow such an event would have made history of our world, wherein we are now living therein.

The tribulation was so horrifying, that through His own confession Jesus had to acknowledge to the people that such as was not since the beginning of the world up to that time, no, nor ever shall be. The servant of the Lord, Mrs. E.G. White said:

“In the sixteenth century the Reformation, presenting an open Bible to the people, had sought admission to all the countries of Europe. Some nations welcomed it with gladness, as a messenger of Heaven. In other lands the papacy succeeded to a great extent in preventing its entrance; and the light

of the Bible knowledge, with its elevating influences, was almost wholly excluded. In one country, though the light found entrance, it was not comprehended by the darkness. For centuries, truth and error struggled for the mastery. At last the evil triumphed, and the truth of Heaven was thrust out. “This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light.” John 3 : 19. …………………………….

“The war against the Bible, carried forward for so many centuries in France, culminated in the scenes of the Revolution. That terrible out breaking was but the legitimate result of Rome’s suppression of the Scriptures. ……………………

“The suppression of the Scriptures during the period of papal supremacy was foretold by the prophets; and the Revelator points also to the terrible results that were to accrue especially to France from the domination of the “man of sin.”

Said the angel of the Lord: “The holy city shall they tread underfoot forty and two months. And I will give power unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth. ……….. The Great Controversy, pp. 265, 266.

Further Explanation of the two Witnesses, who represent the Bible of the Old Testament and

the New Testament Scriptures

Mrs. Ellen G. White as the servant of the Lord further said : “The two witnesses represent the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testament. Both are important testimonies to the origin and perpetuity of the law of God. Both are witnesses also to the plan of salvation. The types, sacrifices, and prophecies of the Old Testament point forward to a Savior to come. The Gospels and Epistles of the New Testament tell of a Savior who has come in the exact manner foretold by type and prophecy.

“THEY SHALL PROPHESY A THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND THREE-SCORE DAYS, CLOTHED IN SACKLOTH.” During the greater part of this period, God’s witnesses remained in a state of obscurity. The papal power

sought to hide from the people the word of truth, and set before them false witnesses to contradict its testimony. When the Bible was proscribed by religious and secular authority; when its testimony was perverted, and every effort made that men and demons could invent to turn the minds of the people from it; when those who dared proclaim its sacred truths were hunted, betrayed, tortured, buried in dungeon cells, martyred for their faith, or compelled to flee to mountain fastness, and to the dens and caves of the earth – then the faithful witnesses prophesied in sackcloth. Yet they continued their testimony throughout the entire period of 1260 years. In the darkest times there were faithful men who loved God’s word and were jealous for His honor. To these loyal servants were given wisdom, power, and authority to declare His truth during the whole of this time.

“AND IF ANY MAN WILL HURT THEM, FIRE PROCEEDETH OUT OF THEIR MOUTH AND DEVOURTH THEIR ENEMIES: AND IF ANY MAN WILL HURT THEM, HE MUST IN THIS MANNER BE KILLED.” Revelation 11 : 5. Men cannot with impunity trample upon the word of God. The meaning of this fearful denunciation is set forth in the closing chapter of the Revelation : “I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book : and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22 : 18, 19.

“Such are the warnings which God has given to guard men against changing in any manner that which He has revealed or commanded. These solemn denunciations apply to all whom by their influence lead men to regard lightly the law of God. …………The written word, the law of God, will measure the character of every man and condemn all whom this unerring test shall declare wanting.

“WHEN THEY SHALL HAVE FINISHED (ARE FINISHING) THEIR TESTIMONY.” The period when the two witnesses were to prophesy clothed in sackcloth, ended in 1798. As they were approaching the termination of their work in obscurity, war was to be made upon them by the power represented as “the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit.” In many of the nations of Europe the powers that ruled in church and state had for centuries been controlled by Satan through the medium of the papacy. But here is brought to view a new manifestation of satanic power.

“It had been Rome’s policy, under a profession of reference for the Bible, to keep it locked up in an unknown tongue and hidden away from the people.

Under her rule the witnesses prophesied “clothed in sackcloth.” But another power --- the beast from the bottomless pit -- was to arise to make open, avowed war upon the word of God.

“THE GREAT CITY“IN WHOSE STREETS THE WITNESSES ARE SLAIN, AND WHERE THEIR DEAD BODIES LIE, IS “SPIRITUALLY“ EGYPT. Of all nations presented in Bible history, Egypt most boldly denied the existence of the living God and resisted His command. No monarch ever ventured upon more open and highhanded rebellion against the authority of Heaven than did the king of Egypt. When the message was brought him by Moses, in the name of the Lord, Pharaoh proudly answered: “Who is Jehovah that I should hearken unto His voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, and moreover I will not let Israel go.” Exodus 5 : 2, A.R.V. This is atheism, and the nation represented by Egypt would give voice to a similar denial of the claims of the living God and would manifest a like spirit of unbelief and defiance. “The great city” is also compared, “spiritually,” to Sodom. The corruption of Sodom in breaking the law of God was especially manifested in licentiousness. And this sin was also to be a pre-eminent characteristic of the nation that should fulfill the specifications of this scripture.

“According to the words of the prophet, then, a little before the year 1798 some power of satanic origin and character would rise to make war upon the Bible. And in the land where the testimony of God’s two witnesses should thus be silenced, there would be manifest the atheism of the Pharaoh and the licentiousness of Sodom.

“This prophecy has received a most exact and striking fulfillment in the history of France. During the Revolution, in 1793, “the world for the first time heard an assembly of men born and educated in civilization, and assuming the right to govern one of the finest of the European nations, uplift their united voice to deny the most solemn truth which man’s soul receives, and renounce unanimously the belief and worship of a Deity.” – Sir Walter Scott, LIFE of Napoleon, vol. 1, ch. 17. “France is the only nation in the world concerning which the authentic record survives, that as a nation she lifted her hand in open rebellion against the Author of the universe. Plenty of blasphemers, plenty of infidels, there have been, and still continue to be, in England, Germany, Spain, and elsewhere; but France stands apart in the world’s history as the single state which, by the decree of her Legislative Assembly, pronounced that there was no God, and of which the entire population of the capital, and a vast majority elsewhere, women as well as men, danced and sang with joy in accepting the announcement.”-- Blackwood’s Magazine, November 1870.

“France presented also the characteristics which especially distinguished Sodom. During the Revolution there was manifest a state of moral debasement and corruption similar to that which brought destruction upon the cities (Sodom and Gomorrah) of the plain.” – Great Controversy, pp. 267 - 270.

“WHERE ALSO OUR LORD WAS CRUCIFIED.“

“This specification of the prophecy was also fulfilled by France. In no land had the spirit of enmity against Christ been more strikingly displayed. In no country had the truth encountered more bitter and cruel opposition. In the persecution which France had visited upon the confessors of the gospel, she had crucified Christ in the person of His disciples.

Century after century the blood of the saints had been shed. While the Wildness laid down their lives upon the mountains of Piedmont “for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ,” similar witness to the truth had been borne by their brethren, the Albigenses of France. In the days of Reformation its disciples had been put to death with horrible tortures. King and nobles, highborn women and delicate maidens, the pride and chivalry of the nation, had feasted their eyes upon the agonies of the martyrs of Jesus. The brave Huguenots, battling for those rights which the human heart holds most sacred, had poured out their blood on many a hard-fought field. The Protestants were counted as outlaws, a price was set upon their heads, and they were hunted down like wild beasts.” – The Great Controversy, p. 271.

“THE BEAST THAT ASCENDED OUT OF THE BOTTOMLSS PIT SHALL MAKE WAR AGAINST THEM, AND SHALL OVERCOME THEM, AND KILL THEM.”

“The atheistically power that ruled in France during the Revolution and the Reign of Terror, did wage such a war against God and His holy word as the world had never witnessed. The worship of the Deity was abolished by the National Assembly. Bibles were collected and publicly burned with every possible manifestation of scorn. The law of God was trampled underfoot. The institutions of the Bible were abolished. The weekly rest day was set aside, and in its stead every tenth day was devoted to reveling and blasphemy. Baptism and the Communion were prohibited. And announcement posted conspicuously over the burial places declared death to be an eternal sleep.

“The fear of God was said to be so far from the beginning of wisdom that it was the beginning of folly. All religious worship was prohibited, except that of liberty and the country. The “constitutional bishop of Paris was brought forward to play the principal part in the most impudent and scandalous farce ever acted in the face of a national representation. ……..He was brought forward in full procession, to declare to the Convention that the religion which he had taught so many years was, in every respect, a piece of priest craft, which had no foundation either in history or sacred truth. He disowned, in solemn and explicit terms, the existence of the Deity to whose worship he had been consecrated, and devoted himself in future to the homage of liberty, equality, virtue, and morality. He then laid on the table his Episcopal decoration, and received a fraternal embrace from the president of the Convention. Several apostate priests followed the example of this prelate.” -- Scott, vol.1, ch. 17. ---- “The Great Controversy, 273, 274.

“AND THEY THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH SHALL REJOICE OVER THEM, AND MAKE MERRY, AND SHALL SEND GIFTS ONE TO ANOTHER; BECAUSE THESE TWO PROPHETS TORMENTED THEM THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH.”

Infidel France had silenced the reproving voice of God’s two witnesses. The word of truth lay dead in her streets, and those who hated the restrictions and requirements of God’s law were jubilant. Men publicly defied the King of heaven. Like the sinners of old, they cried: “How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?” Psalm 73 : 11.

The two Witnesses Of God were at last to live again

“God’s faithful witnesses, slain by the blasphemous power that ascended out of the bottomless pit, were not long to remain silent. “After three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.” Revelation 11 : 11. It was in 1793 that the decrees which abolished the Christian religion and set aside the Bible passed the French Assembly. Three years and a half later a resolution rescinding these decrees, thus granting toleration to the Scriptures was adopted by the same body. The world stood aghast at the enormity of guilt which had resulted from a rejection of the Sacred Oracles, and men recognized the necessity of faith in God and His word as the foundation of virtue and morality. Saith the Lord : “Whom has thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom has thou exalted thy

voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high ? even against the Holy One of Israel.” -- Isaiah 37 : 23. “Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is Jehovah.” Jeremiah 16 : 21. A.R.V.

“Concerning the two witnesses the prophet declares further : “And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.” Revelation 11 : 12. Since France made war upon God’s two witnesses, they have been honored as never before. In 1804 the British and Foreign Bible Society was organized. This was followed by similar organizations, with numerous branches, upon the continent of Europe. In 1816 the American Bible Society was founded. When the British Society was formed, the Bible had been printed and circulated in fifty tongues. It has since been translated into many hundreds of languages and dialects.” – The Great Controversy, p. 287.

N o t e : The Bible as the light of the world was ever banned and obscured for a very long period of 1260 years. A very long time indeed, as long as time of the whole period of the persecution itself, that have taken the lives of millions of Christian martyrs under the suppressive power of the cruel pope of the Roman Catholic Church, whom the Bible called by the name “the man of sin”. (Read 2 Thessalonians 2 : 3).

J E S U S :The only Great Tribulation such as was not

since the beginning of the world up to the time, no, nor ever shall be.

So horrible was the time of the tribulation, which as was not since the beginning of the world, but those Christ’s followers were steadfast in their faith, to face the ordeal up to the end even for centuries of the whole tribulation.

We present herewith an excerpt from the world history in an article entitled “CENTURIES OF PERSECUTION”

A Supplement on the CENTURIES OF PERSECUTION

“That the church of Rome has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind, will be questioned by no Protestant who has a competent knowledge of history . . . It is impossible to form a complete conception of the multitude of her victims, and it quite certain that no powers of imagination can adequately realize their sufferings. “ W.E.H. Lecky, History of the Rise and Influence of the Spirit of Rationalism in Europe, Vol. 2, p. 32, 1910 ed.(An excellent, though lengthy, article describing in detail the right of the Roman Catholic Church to do this, will be found in The Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. 12, p. 266.)

“For professing faith contrary to the teachings of the Church of Rome, history records the martyrdom of more than one hundred million people. A million Wildness and Albigenses (Swiss and French Protestants) perished during a crusade proclaimed by Pope Innocent III in 1208. Beginning from the establishment of the Jesuits in 1540 to 1580, nine hundred thousand were destroyed. One hundred and fifty thousand perished by the Inquisition in thirty years. Within the space of thirty-eight years after the edict of Charles V against the Protestants, fifty thousand persons were hanged, beheaded, or burned alive for heresy. Eighteen thousand more perished during the administration of the Duke of Alva in five and a half years.” Brief Bible Readings, p. 16.

“The Catholic has some reason on his side when he calls for the temporal punishment of heretics, for he claims the true title of Christian for himself exclusively, and professes to be taught by the never-failing presence of the Spirit of God . . . It is not more ‘morally’ wrong to put a man to death for heresy than for murder . . . (and) in many cases persecution for religious opinions is not only permissible, but highly advisable and necessary.” “The Lawfulness of Persecution,” in The Rambler, 4, June 1849, pp. 119, 126 (English R. C. journal published from 1848 to 1862).

“‘The church,’ said (Martin) Luther . . . ‘has never burned a heretic’... I reply that this argument proves not the opinion, but the ignorance or impudence of Luther. Since almost infinite numbers were either burned or otherwise killed, Luther either did not know it, and was therefore ignorant, or if he was not ignorant, he is convicted of impudence and falsehood; for that heretics were often burned by the church may be proved if we adduce

R e f o r m a t i o n Or the Move of Restoration began

by Dr. Martin Luther

The servant of the Lord, Mrs. E.G. White said :

“The persecution of the church did not continue throughout the entire period of the 1260 years. God in mercy to His people cut short the time of their fiery trial. In foretelling the “great tribulation” to befall the church, the Savior said : “Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved : but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” Matthew 24 : 22. Through the influence of the Reformation the persecution was brought to an end prior to 1798.” – Great Controversy, p. 266, 267.

The powerful Pope of Rome seemed to have been paralyzed, neither by might of the people nor by power of an organization, but just by the sword of the word of God alone. Read Revelation 13 : 14 (margin). And that is the first doctrinal point of view of the Bible brought by Dr. Martin Luther, entitled: “THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.” In his own testimony against the Pope, the lowly Luther said:

“I will preach, discuss, and write; but I will constrain none, for faith is a voluntary act. See what I have done. I stood up against the pope, indulgences, and papists, but without violence or tumult. I put forward God’s word; I preach and wrote --- this was all I did. And yet while I was asleep, …….. The word that I had preached overthrew popery, so that

neither prince nor emperor has done it so much harm. And yet I did nothing; the word alone did all.” – quoted from the book The Great Controversy, p. 190.

Mrs. E.G. White further said :

“The Reformation did not, as many suppose, end with Luther. It is to be continued to the close of this world’s history. Luther had a great work to do in reflecting to others the light which God had permitted to shine upon him; yet he did not receive all the light which was to be given to the world. From that time to this, n e w l i g h t has been continually shining upon the Scriptures, and new truths have been constantly unfolding.” – The Story of Redemption, p. 353.

From the historical fact we have found that Dr. Martin Luther was not alone in his effort to have all the truth of the Bible restored in his life time. He was actually followed respectively by six other servants of the Lord, each in his own period of time. Below are they, who ever emerged on the stage of history as follows:

The Five Wise Virgins

There are in fact seven phases needed to have all the truth of the Bible restored unto our midst. But why should we need up to seven phases ?

“Seven” is a Biblical number to denote completeness. The servant of the Lord said :

“Different periods in the history of the church have each been marked by the development of some special truth, adapted to the necessities of God’s people at that time. Every new truth has made its way against hatred and opposition; those who were blessed with its light were tempted and tried. The Lord gives a special truth for the people in an emergency. Who dare refuse to publish it ? -- The Great Controversy, p. 609.

“Precious light is to shine forth from the word of God, and let no one presume to dictate what shall or what shall not be brought before the people in the messages of enlightenment that He shall send, and so quench the Spirit of God. What ever may be his position of authority, no one has a right to shut away the light from the people. When a message comes in the name of the Lord to His people, no one may excuse himself from an investigation of its claims. No one can afford to stand back in an attitude of indifference and self-confidence, and say : “I know what is truth. I am satisfied with my position. I have set my stakes, and I will not be moved away from my position, whatever may come. I will not listen to the message of this messenger; for I know that it cannot be truth.” IT IS FROM PURSUING THIS VERY COURSE THAT THE POPULAR CHURCHES (the Protestant, the Presbyterian, the Methodist, the Baptist, the First Day Adventist, the Seventh-day Adventist and all others) were left in p a r t i a l d a r k n e s s, and that is why the messages of heaven have not reached them.” – Counsels on Sabbath School Work, p. 28. (in brackets are added).

Partial darkness = partial lightened. This is to show positively that their Bible truth is not as yet complete to get them saved to the end. Each generation of the people of God in the New Testament era have their Bible truth by measure. Despite all of us should have the basic Law of the Ten Commandment in full, the Bible truth as the Rules of Implementation of the basic Law could not be given only once and for all. That is the reason why the new light should have come ever since the time of Luther in successive order, one complemented the other. And those who dare refuse to welcome the light presented to them, they will be left in partial darkness. Each generation of the people of God will be saved by the Law and the Testimony (or the Testimony of Jesus Christ, or the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY) As an example : The people of God in the time of Paul was to be saved by the Law and the Bible truth of the New Testament available at the time. They could not be taken to account for the Bible truth of the

prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation, which were not as yet available in their time to obey.

But for you and me who are now living in this time of the end, wherein all the Scriptures of the Bible have been interpreted into THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, we are accountable to the Lord to obey all the Bible truth available, or else to be left alone in partial darkness.

We are now living in the time of the end. Christian world today have been developed into so many sects and Churches. And Seventh-day Adventist Church according to the prophecy is the last Church of God in this time of the end. This is the reason why this is the only Church in the time of the end that should be divided into two classes of people to meet the parable of Jesus in Matthew 25 : 1, 2; 13 : 24 – 25. And this parable also must be obeyed as a rule of implementation of the basic Law of God

The Last Message of “THE PURIFICATION OF THE CHURCH”

Since this last message has not as yet met its fulfillment up to this very moment, it must inevitably be the same message of the angel Gabriel to Daniel as written in Daniel 12 : 4, 9 – 10. And those Christians who receive this message joyfully will at last be purified, made white, and tried. But to the contrary, those who refuse to receive the message are to be deemed the wicked, who are to do wickedly and none of them will ever have the opportunity to understand.

The apostle Matthew ever since the early New Testament era has ever written of the two classes of people in the Church as mentioned by Christ in His parable, in the following words :

“T h e n shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.” – Matthew 25 : 1, 2.

The servant of the Lord, Mrs. Ellen G. White, in her explanation of the parable revealed that the parable of the ten virgins is to meet its fulfillment with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is the Church founded by her ever since the beginning, based upon her message of the angel of Revelation 14 or The Spirit of Prophecy. The kingdom of heaven mentioned in the parable means the Christian Church of SDA, because it represents the kingdom of heaven here on earth.

Ever since the coming of the new message or the new truth by Bro. Victor T. Houteff in 1929 on the purification of the Church, at the same time the Church began to be divided into two classes of people. This is to meet the fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel, and also to meet the fulfillment of the parable of Jesus in Matthew 25, Matthew 13 : 24, 25, and others.

Thus it is, that from among so many sects and Christian Churches in the time of the end, Seventh-day Adventist Church is inevitably to be the only Church in the world with two classes of people in it embracing two contradictive isms. And since no more other Church of God exists, then it is unavoidably to conclude that this is the remnant Church of God to meet the prophecy of Revelation 12 : 17. as follows :

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” – Revelation 12 : 17. “Worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.” – Revelation 19 : 10 (margin).

In the prophecy the woman is to symbolize the Church. Her son is Jesus Christ, because He was born of the Jewish Church. Her seed are to represent the Christians. And the identity of Christians of God in this time of the end is the keepers of the Law and the Testimony of Jesus, which is THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. Therefore this is the only Church of God in the time of the end, which is the remnant .

When the dragon successfully dominated the leadership of Seventh day Adventist Church and most of the membership, after the coming of the new message of truth in 1929, the whole Church then fell and left in “partial darkness.” Here is the Church membership beginning to be divided into two groups of people : those categorized wise virgins on the one side, and the other categorized foolish virgins on the side of the leadership of the Church. And further we will see how those categorized wise virgins, who are to be purified, made white, and tired, are themselves again being attacked by the dragon.

Prior to his death in 1955, Bro. Houteff had ever warned us in the following words :

“Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever --- that he is to have no other chance. Unparalleled, therefore, is the urgency that every eleventh-hour church member now quickly and solidly brace himself against the Enemy’s effort to deliver a knockout blow.” ---- The White House Recruiter, p. 33. The above warning has met its fulfillment soon after the death of the servant of the Lord Bro. Victor T. Houteff in 1955. The Headquarters of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, USA was then liquidated in 1962.

But then, several years later in 1991, most of the premises of the old Headquarters were again recovered. And they are now in the hand of The Davidian SDA Headquarters in Waco, Texas. USA. However, the problem did not as yet end there, because from the warning itself, Bro. Houteff has said of a second knockout blow to come no more from the Enemy, but just from professed friends of the gospel. Read carefully the following statement :

“We must be alert, too, to realize that the blow is to come from surprisingly unsuspected foes --- from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day. It is, moreover, but to be expected that the Adversary will employ every agency possible to prevent the Lord from disclosing to view His now obscure 144.000 first fruit servants, who are to go gather in the second fruits (Revelation 7 : 9). The Enemy will try everything conceivable to confuse, becloud, and cover up the Truth, especially on the subject of the 144.000.” -- The White House Recruiter, p. 33. The second knockout blow did no more come right from the Enemy, which is the Dragon of Revelation 12 : 17, but just from surprisingly unsuspected foes --- from professed friends of the gospel, who are no less pious than were the priests in Christ’s day. Who are they? They are the antitypical Sanhedrin. If the priests in Christ’s day were the typical Sanhedrin of the past, then the leadership of Davidian SDA in Waco, Texas, must unavoidably be the antitypical Sanhedrin of today.

We will certainly ask: What is really their sin ? Since they are the antitypical Sanhedrin of the past in Christ’s day, they must unavoidably fall in the same sin of the Sanhedrin, which is “the narrow minded fundamentalism.” Through their stiff fundamentalism to preserve the purity of the message of the Shepherd’s Rod, they have deliberately limited the message to such extent that it could not develop the mind of the people. This is the sin mentioned by John the Revelator in the following words : “I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book : and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22 : 18, 19.

Since only the wise virgins of the remnant Church of God, have embraced the whole seven doctrinal points of view mentioned in the chart above, then they should have been the only people in this time of the end, who have the capacity to teach all the prophecies of the Bible, the book of Revelation, and the parables of Jesus, in the right way.

Punishment against those mentioned in Revelation 22 : 18, 19 would certainly be addressed specifically to the apostate evangelists, pastors, and teachers of the Davidian SDA Headquarters in Waco, Texas, USA, and all their affiliates in the world. These are they, which were mentioned in the Revelation 14 : 5 to be the wise virgins with guile in their mouths. Or of those categorized as “c h a f f“, who are to be burned together with the “t a r e s” of those in Seventh - day Adventist churches, in the coming purification of the Church as those foretold in the prophecy of Ezekiel chapter 9.

How is the fate of the other virgins, who are to be purified, made white, and tried,

in this time of the end ?

Prophet Zachariah has ever prophesied the following word : “And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Awake O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the Lord of host : smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered : and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.” – Zechariah 13 : 6, 7.

This prophetic word of Zechariah was for the first time fulfilled on the personality of Jesus Himself in Palestine. Thus said Mrs. Ellen. G. White the prophet. When the same was asked to Bro. Houteff, he also gave the same answer. However, when he died in 1955, we all should be of one point of view, that since all the prophecies of the Old Testament were specifically reserved for the time of the end, then the prophecy of Zechariah 13 : 6, 7 must inevitably meet once again its fulfillment in this time of the end. This prophecy of Zechariah has met its fulfillment again in the time when Bro. Houteff died in 1955.

That is, after the death of Bro. Houteff in 1955, the Davidians of the wise virgins or the wheat, of the Church of SDA in the world were scattered everywhere. That means, after the death of their shepherd, all the sheep will be scattered up to now. And no more leadership of any Davidian SDA in the world could win the approval of God’s grace to represent Him to lead the flock up to the purification of the Church to take place. But through the prophecy of Zechariah the Lord has promised us the following words: “I WILL TURN MY HAND UPON THE LITTLE ONES.” Who are the little ones?

We have to believe that with the coming of the new light of the message of the Shepherd’s Rod, the remnant Church of SDA should have been sifted into two classes of people: the wise categorized virgins or the wheat on the one side, and the foolish categorized virgins or the tares on the other side. Then through the practical doing of the message itself the wise categorized virgins or the wheat are yet to be sifted. The result is the wise categorized people with guile in their mouth, should be sifted out. Or in other words, the c h a f f should be sifted out, and only the pure virgins or wheat would remain. It is now crystal clear who the little ones are indeed, because Jesus Himself through the prophetic word of Zechariah is to turn His hand upon the little ones, to lead them up to their purification in the future.

Since the Lord will no more recognize any Headquarters of Davidian SDA to represent Him today, then the following statement by the servant of the Lord would have met its fulfillment, when she said: “Let me tell you that the Lord will work in this last work in a manner very much out of the common order of things, and in a way that will be contrary to any human planning. There will be those among us who will always want to control the work of God, to dictate even what movements shall be made when the work goes forward under the direction of the angel who joins the third angel in the message (of THE SPIRIT OF

PROPHECY) to be given to the world. God will use ways and means by which it will be seen that He is taking the reins in His own hands. The workers will be surprised by the simple means that He will use to bring about and perfect His work of righteousness.” – Testimonies to Ministers, p. 300. (In the brackets is added)

The angel who joins the third angel in the message of THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY is now enlightening the earth, beginning in our churches everywhere in the world. The angel represents the message of Revelation 18 : 1 in the Shepherd’s Rod publications by Bro. Victor T. Houteff. It is the message to unite with the third angel’s message of the Spirit of Prophecy by Mrs. E. G. White to enlighten the earth, beginning in our own Christian world.

C o n c l u s i o n

The warning stated by Jesus through Matthew 24 : 21 – 22 has proved to have a very large implication for the salvation of mankind, especially for the Christians now living in this time of the end. Although the two Witnesses of God, who are the Old and the New Testament Scriptures, had ever been abused and banned from the public during the 1260 years dark ages of religion, they are now recovered and could be found standing everywhere in the world. But the Dragon seems no more so zealous to attack nor to hamper their movement again as ever before. Then what is truly to be his main objective now? The servant of the Lord gave us warning to be on alert: “Everything that can be done against God’s message of today will be done with even a greater vengeance than was manifest against Heaven’s message in the days of Christ’s first advent, for the Devil knows that if he loses now, he loses forever ………………………” --- The White House Recruiter, p. 33. With even a greater vengeance the old Dragon will fight against God’s message of today which is THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY, because this is the only message we need in this time of the end to purify, to make white, and to get us tried. God’s message of today is no more only a limited message to those living in the time of Paul and his fellow apostles This is the reason why sister E.G. White has to emphasize in the following word,

“In ancient times God spoke to men by the mouth of prophets and apostles (in the Bible). In these days (in this time of the end) He speaks to

them by the t e s t i m o n i e s o f H i s S p i r i t. There was never a time when God instructed His people more earnestly than He instructs them n o w concerning His will, and the course that He would have them pursue.” --– Evangelism, p. 255, 256 (In brackets added).

In these days, just in the last part of the time of the end, GOD the SON is now speaking to us through THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. There was never a time when God instructed His people more earnestly than He instructs them n o w concerning His will, and the course that He would have us pursue.
