Thanksgiving 2014

• The meaning of Thanksgiving:• Thanksgiving is an expression of an

inner recognition and acknowledgment of the grace of God in every area of one's life.

• True thankfulness is something that proceeds out of the inner person, from the heart through the mouth.

• Hebrews 13:15 ( NKJV ) Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. 

• One of the Greek words for Thanksgiving is eucharisteō, from which we get the English word Eucharist - which is the sacrament of the Lord’s supper, or communion.

• We will be partaking of communion as part of our Thanksgiving service.
