For many of us here at Dayspring, Thanksgiving Sunday is a high point of the year -

a worship service not to be missed.

The Combined Choirs of Dayspring – from toddlers to grade-school kids to youth

to the veteran singers of the Dayspring Chorale,

along with the Handbell Choirs and the Dayspring Brass,

join to present “The First Song of Isaiah”, by Jack Noble White, based on Isaiah 12:

“Surely it is God who saves me;”

“I will trust in Him and not be afraid.”

“For the Lord is my stronghold and my sure defense,”

“And he will be my Savior.”

After the service, Pastor George Smoot leads the congregation in blessing the food (eight pallets like this one, plus

hundreds of pounds of frozen turkeys) donated during the Dayspring Fall Food Drive.
