• A judge ordered TSA to pay an employee 1 month of backpay and $100,000 in compensatory damages. • TSA was also ordered to modify the agency’s policies to comply with the Rehabilitaon Act. • TSA cannot treat officers with alleged disabilies less favorably than officers without disabilies. • TSA may not limit paid administrave leave to 7 days for employees issued a proposed removal due to a medical condion. • Unless the employee would pose a direct threat in a duty status, TSA may not force an employee to take leave (LWOP, annual, sick, administrave, etc.) aſter receiving a proposed removal due to a medical condion.
