In the 2005 Youth Risk Behavioral Survey conducted by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local states – youth surveyed in grades 9 – 12State of Alabama and National results:•EXPERIENCING FEELING OF HOPELESSNESS OR SADNESS FOR 2 OR MORE WEEKS - 28.5% of Alabama youth said they had felt that way MORE THAN ONE out of every FOUR youth – Nationally 28.5%.
