4/9/2021 OHS Professional eNews https://www.aihs.org.au/civicrm/mailing/view?reset=1&id=2999 1/7 Thanks We’ve spoken volumes about the challenges of 2020. As the year closes out, there are also a few things worth celebrating for the AIHS and the profession, and I hope you can personally relate to these as well. We are more adaptive and resilient than we thought, and that doesn’t just make us feel stronger, it really does make us stronger. We turned some potentially big losses into some big wins, and that makes us proud. We’ve had some incredibly productive partnerships, because we all threw out the playbook, dropped our guard and took risks, jumping head-first into new things together. We’ve dropped some things that matter less, and held on more tightly to things that matter most. We took up some big advocacy issues, told the truth about issues, focused on where to achieve change, and in the end made a big difference. More than ever before, we are a community focused on cooperation, engagement, quality, knowledge and enlightening debate, and our profession’s voice is being heard where it matters most. I and the staff team have never felt more proud and fortunate to work for you all and provide the space for a dynamic, growing, strong profession to show up and lead. Let’s take a short breath and a short break, and get ready because next year is going to be our most exciting ever - for the AIHS and for the growth of the profession. Stay safe and see you in 2021 David Clarke INDUSTRY NEWS
