I know I don’t tell you near enough

My mind’s always cluttered with other stuff

I race and I rush, I’m always tired and tangled

But I’m down here on the ground

Taking a good hard look a-round

I wanna tell you now that I’m so thankful

For every new day that I'm still breathing.

This blue sky sunshine feeling I'm feeling.

For every moment I have, I'm so thankful

For the beautiful colorful world that surrounds me.

The love in the eyes of the people around me

I want You to know I am so thankful.

I think about that fiery crash

That night in the rain, every thing went black

I walked out without a scratch in the arms of an angel

But when I look out toward to the west

But when I look out to the west

On a beautiful day at that red sunset

I know I’ve been so blessed and I’m so thankful

For every new day that I’m still breathing
