Our Thank You Tour had its humble beginnings in 2007. OnAugust 7of that year we cooked hot dogs outside our Baldwin EZ Mart and expressed our thanks to our customers. We had fun and so did the customers. That first year we did a total of 6 events. The following year we increased it to 38 events and it has continued to grow each year. This summer will be our biggest year to date with 96 events from late April through September. Last summer we added entertainment to some of the events with the addition of Jake Slater (Elvis) and LC Smoove the Bourbon St.Saxophone King. Both will be back this summer with Jake performing at 27 events and LC Smoove at 22 events. Since its inception in 2007we have done a total of 474 events and have thanked at least 300,000customers. We have given away more than 500,000 hot dogs. In 1933 my dad started pumping gas in Bear Lake, Michigan, which was the start of our business. Mom, my brother and I did whatwe could to help him grow our business. Growing up in a smallcommunity you know how important your neighbors are and thata kind word or gesture matters a lot. We are fortunate to still be inbusiness today thanks to all the wonderful people who have supportedus through the years. We hope you can attend some of our events this summer so that we may have the opportunity to thank you in person.
