What is a “Social”?
1. Social: A party of Lamplighter people assembled to promote
sociability and communal activity. These events are custom-
designed to both optimize entertainment and build friendships.
Socials are scheduled throughout the school year.
All you need to know about Socials:
Socials are chaired by Meg Graves and Kristen Twomey. Contact
Social Chairs, Meg or Kristen, to ask questions or underwrite a
Social.
A “friend-raising” fundraiser under the umbrella of Auction. All
proceeds from Socials go to the Lamplighter Land Fund. Tickets
range from $30-$150.
Social tickets can be purchased online: go to
www.thelamplighterschool.org and click on the “Auction” link. This
will take you to the Auction page where you will find the calendar
of Socials. Regulations will be detailed there.
Due to the highly customized nature of these events, some Socials
are very limited in availability and will sell out immediately. Tickets
go on sale on the first day of school: Wednesday, August 25th at
9:00 a.m.
Look at your calendar and pick your Socials.
Talk to your friends and get them on board, too.
Go online and get your tickets before they are sold out.
