On behalf of Women’s Fellowship, thank you for donating to the 2017 school supply drive. So many wonderful items were donated to the school districts as well as a local family that was in need...their testimony is below: “It was such a blessing to have met you too! Yes my kids are great kids. I am the first generation to break chains with dysfunction. I grew up in domestic violence home. But by the grace of God things have changed. I am raising my boys with Jesus the foundation of our lives. I was praying, driving down 99th Ave for God to provide for our needs school supplies and groceries . And as I was driving by your church I saw the sign saying something about school supply donations. And I googled the number and called. Thank you so much. • OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES: We lost 2 church family members this past week. Bob Dewey passed away in Ligonier, Indiana on August 13, 2017. Phyllis Hidinger also passed away at Royal Oaks on August 14, 2017. Let us remember to pray for God’s comfort and peace for their family and friends in this time of bereavement and loss.

• SUMMER BIBLE STUDY: The fourth week of Pastor Brian’s Summer Bible Study series continues this Wednesday, August 23rd at 9 AM in Alexander Hall. This study focuses around the familiar words of what we often call, The Lord’s Prayer. Come join us this week and bring a friend!
• TRUSTEES BOARD MEETING: There is a Trustees’ Board meeting scheduled for this Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 9 AM in the Conference Room. Please mark you calendars.
• THANK YOU FROM THE SUNSHINE COMMITTEE: On behalf of the Sunshine Committee and Ann Zabler, thank you for donating so many greeting cards to help us reach out to church members and family in need.
