During the work To enable repairs to be carried out efficiently, the A36 will be fully closed to through-traffic. Some minor roads in the vicinity of Limpley Stoke may also be closed to control potential “rat running”. Access to Limpley Stoke and Monkton Combe, via the A36 will be controlled through the use of gate- houses. A 'permit' system will be in place to assist residents and businesses. Clearly signed diversion routes will be in operation for the duration of the scheme. Details are printed in this publication. There will be some disruption to the local bus services whilst the work is being carried out. However, we are trying to minimise this by providing a shuttle service to assist the main bus.
