Battery Management Services

Battery testing can help to identify ‘weak’ batteries before they disrupt your power continuity plan. Thamesgate can provide on-site impedance, chemical analysis and load bank testing. We also supply advanced monitoring systems for battery sets, and provide competitively priced replacement batteries and recycling services.

All our services are monitored within the Thamesgate Group management systems and comply with the relevant Environment Agency requirements, European guidelines on WEEE and RoHS, and government statutes. The company is a licensed waste carrier with the Environment Agency and uses certified specialist recycling centres for batteries and other toxic waste substances.

Thamesgate Callcentre

Thamesgate operates a 24/7 callcentre and technical hotline, backed-up by our ‘on-call’ team. Access to the service is provided free of charge for maintenance contract clients and is charged on a half-hourly rate to non-contract clients.

Web-based Monitoring Portal

247@thamesgate is a web-based 24 hour, 7 day a week alarm monitoring service from Thamesgate.

Our custom designed portal provides clients with a secure login access and information from both SMS (text) and SNMP (simple network management protocol) monitored systems, with client dedicated alarm scripts. The alarm script can include email, SMS and telephone alerts to instigate an emergency response callout and technical site assistance.

247@thamesgate is designed to operate with any UPS or generator, access control or cooling system that can generate an SMS-based alarm. Specific routines can be custom programmed for individual SNMP-based systems.

The portal can be viewed via any PC, tabletor smartphone with a browser capable ofaccessing an https:// URL. Clients can also send technical support tickets and book a maintenance visit.

Strategic Spares Availability

Thamesgate provides spares and stock storage facilities to support system manufacturers. These are available on a 24 hour basis to respond to emergency callouts and bring systems back online.

Managed Stock Location

The Thamesgate facility is based within 30 minutes of London. For some Supply Partners, Thamesgate provides a strategic stock location for finished products, local repairs and spares. Thamesgate also provides order fulfilment, as an extension to their logistics, installation and service teams.

Third-party Trained Engineers

At Thamesgate we place a great emphasis on training and all our engineers are manufacturer certified for commissioning, installation, maintenance and fault-finding. As well as providing this service to our own clients, we also provide subcontract services within the power protection industry.
