Dear Community Supporter: The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley will be holding its 6th and last annual charity event, entitled the "HOPE CLASSIC: High School Basketball Showcase". This event will be hosted Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Struthers Field House in Struthers, Ohio starting at 3 p.m. and running until all four (4) games have been complete. The schedule of games: Game 1 (Girls-3pm): South Range vs Brookfield; Game 2 (Girls-4:30pm): Howland vs Struthers, Game 3 (Boys-6pm): LaBrae vs Struthers, Game 4 (Boys-7:30pm): South Range vs Malvern. This event benefits the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley; a 501 © 3 non-profit foundation, which raises funds that benefits chronically/terminally ill children in the Mahoning Valley. The foundation has given out thousands of dollars over the years to help better the lives of terminally ill children. Some examples include programs for therapy, quilts for terminally ill children, funding families of cancer patients in need, and buying IPads to help autistic children better communicate.

The event is proudly sponsored by Minuteman Press-Youngstown, Newsradio 570 WKBN, 93.3 The Wolf, Eagle Wear Inc and Lamar Advertising. To ensure its continued success, your help is needed. The foundation is entirely driven by volunteers. The organization was founded in 2007 after the increasing success and popularity of the Game of Hope Charity Basketball Classic, which began in 2005.

The Hope Classic invites boys and girls scholastic teams from the region and beyond to come and compete in a one-day showcase. The following pages contain information and the donation packets for organizations. Corporate levels can be found by accessing the website at www.hopemv.org.
