The XXXVIII Advanced Course in Paediatric Pathology, Organised by the International Paediatric
Pathology Association is intended as an on-going resource to meet the educational needs of paediatric
pathologists, perinatal pathologists, general pathologists whose practice includes paediatric pathology,
and pathology specialists trainees
E d u c a t i o n a l O b j e c t i v e s
• To provide an overview on practical aspects of paediatric and perinatal histopathology
• To provide an up-date on: placental disorders, practical approach to diagnosing and
reporting soft tissue tumours, Hirschsprung’s Disease, undescended testes, paediatric
transplant pathology, bone tumours, pancreatic pathology, liver and renal tumours and
molecular techniques.
