BatmanThe Caped Crusader, Bruce Wayne, The Dark Knight, the protector of Gotham City, This superhero has many names, but we know him as Batman. Everybody loves Batman, but it is time we knew the person who drew him first over 70 years ago! His name is Bob Kane, and he was the father of one of the coolest superheroes ever made.

Bob Kane was a comic book artist for DC comics, and Batman is not his only work. He even created Batman’s enemies; Clayface, Two-face, Penguin, Scarecrow and even the Joker. Cat Woman and Robin were also drawn by him.

The all-powerful Superman, at first, became everyone’s favourite after he was created. And Batman was Bob Kane’s answer to Superman, and what an answer it was! Rad ShaRaR

For all the art lovers out there, this DIY is just the right “mess” for you.

You need• 1 cup salt• 1 cup flour• 1 cup water• Different food colouring• Squeeze bottles

InstructionsAdd one cup salt, flour, water, and a good size of food colouring into a squeeze bottle. Use different bottles for different colours and when done, squeeze the bottle to form puffy arts. When the paint dries, it will be sparkly and rough because of the added salt. If you want more of the sandpaper-y feel, try adding glitter or even sand. SaMa E dEEn

Imagine you’re diving in for a swim in the rivers of Amazon when suddenly a fierce group of piranhas attack you! What do you do? Well lucky for us, we are not in the Amazon. But you can be if you play Piranha Panic.

Firstly, in the game you roll the die and the die decides the player’s next move. Each player has three fish marbles in the game which are attacked by the

piranhas and your aim should be to keep them away from the piranhas as much as possible. The die decides how far your fish marbles move or whether you are eaten by the piranhas. The first player to get all three fish marbles upstream, wins.

fLy, fLy, fLy!!! Ginger, the gorgeous Persian cat, is a very lazy one! He hardly moves or plays. But when it comes to his meal time, Gingee, his “pet” name, would absolutely eat anything and everything. Eggs, meat, milk, vegetables, give him anything and he’ll finish everything. Now as we know, Ginger is very lazy, this one incident really left us surprised at him. One fine evening, a fly got in, and it was making everyone in the house angry. And

then it followed me to my room where Gingee was asleep. Gingee woke up to the sound of the fly and started following it everywhere. After the fly was nowhere to be seen and it was time for Gingee’s lunch, I called him but there was no reply. He kept his mouth closed and refused to eat. On forcing his mouth open, we saw the insect fly away! We all laughed, and after a lot of hard work the fly was gone!

• Pick the coin up with your left hand and act like you’re putting it in your right hand.

• Now put your left hand back behind your neck and start rubbing your left elbow again. Only you know that the coin is concealed in your left hand.

You need• A plastic bag• Scissors• String• A small object for weight

InstructionsCut out a large octagon (an eight sided shape) from the plastic bag. Make a small hole at each of the eight corners. Tie eight pieces of string of equal length to every hole. Tie the hanging ends of the strings to the item you took as a weight. Take this parachute and drop it from above to learn what happens.

How it worksWhen you let go of the parachute, the weight falls slowly because a large area of the parachute, stops the air and slows it down.
