Locations Not many locations are need for a music video, this video proves it only about 3-4 locations are used. There is the first location at a tattoo parlour which is the main basis of the narrative. Theres the car which is where leads with the narrative and then there’s the police station which completes the narrative as they get arrested for tattooing a man.

Locations - Responses

We will do the same have 3-4 locations in our music video. They will be locations that link with our genre and with our narrative.

PropsNot a lot of props were used in this video, they were stuck to basic things. The police have their props to match with the narrative and make it realistic. They use chairs a lot as to show they have to be seated they’re showing they have control yet no control at the same time.

Props - responseWe will use minimal pops in ours as that is common in the pop genre they more base on the artists and the narrative.

Costumes and MakeupThis video sticks to all the typical characteristics of a pop music video. The girls show lots of bare skin and are shown as sexualising themselves against the men. They stick to the popular makeup in the current time period and this goes well with the genre and the clothing they wear.

Costumes and makeup.

In our music video we will need similar costumes. Showing a bit of bare skin but not too much. Making sure our makeup is very up to date and popular.

Number of shots

This music videos uses a lot of shots. They use all different types they use close ups and tracking shots and a lot of full body shots. This is important to ensure it seems like you’re in that situation. It is also important that the amount of shots shows the journey.

Shots - responses

In our music video we will need to include over 100 different shots. This is to ensure we get every detail of the narrative in. We also need to show shot variation to ensure our product looks real and professional.

Number of performers

In this video there is 5 performers. This is quite common with the pop genre as it focusses more on the artist and in this case the artist is a band and each as important as the other.

Number of performers - responses

In our music video there will only be 2 performers due to the fact that our song was originally sung by 1 artist and can be used with 2.
