The TextMap® App for iPad® Release Notes provide a list of new features, resolved issues,and current issues for the version 1.0 release. The current issues may be addressed in anupdate or other future release of the TextMap App for iPad.

The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for iPad version 1.6 released January16, 2014:

Importing a larger case file would sometimes time out, using up storage space on theiPad

If the import process for a larger case file timed out, causing the app to crash, the appused storage space that was only reclaimed when deleting the app.

The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for iPad version 1.5 released November15, 2013:

Importing new updates from the iPad failed after deleting a case from the iPad and re-importing it

Deleting a case from the iPad and re-importing it caused the iPad case to be out of sync withthe desktop case. When the user tried to import new annotations and issues sent from theiPad, TextMap indicated the updates had already been imported.

The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for iPad version 1.4 released October22, 2013:

App did not launch on iPad running iOS 5.1.1

App did not launch due to a change made in version 1.3. The app should now work on iOS5.1.1 and later.

The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for iPad version 1.3 releasedSeptember 26, 2013:

Importing a case caused errors to occur for each transcript on iOS 7

Resolved an issue where the app displayed error messages while importing a case. Thetranscripts were still imported. This issue only occurred on iOS 7.

Linked issues for an annotation were not displayed correctly on iOS 7

Resolved an issue where annotation linked issues were not displayed correctly in theannotation detail popup. The issue color squares were shrunken, and the issue names werenot visible. This issue only occurred on iOS 7.

The following issues were resolved in the TextMap App for iPad version 1.2 released August 6,2013:

Importing some transcripts caused the app to freeze

The TextMap app froze when trying to import transcripts with lines longer than 70characters. It will make the font smaller to fit the longest line on the screen. Rotating tolandscape orientation will make the text larger.

Search hit highlights were not cleared when importing a new case

Search hit highlights for the previously opened case were still visible after importing a newcase. Closing and reopening the case cleared the incorrect display.

File sharing was enabled in iTunes

The TextMap app was visible in the File Sharing area of iTunes when it should not havebeen. The app does not currently support transferring files to the iPad via iTunes.

Resolved an issue where transcripts took a long time to load

Some exported update files were invalid when editing annotations

The TextMap desktop application indicated the file format was invalid when trying to importthem.

Current Issues

The following enhancements are included in the TextMap App for iPad version 1.1 releasedJune 21, 2013:

Importing a new case does not clear search hit highlights

The app opens the imported case automatically, but the hit highlights (including the hit text)from the last search run in the other case still appear on top of the transcript text. Switchingto another case and back again or running a search in the imported case will clear theinvalid highlights.
