Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

That night all the people of

the community raised their

voices and wept aloud. All

the Israelites grumbled

against Moses and Aaron…Numbers 14:1-2

Then they despised the pleasant

land; they did not believe his

promise. They grumbled in their

tents and did not obey the Lord.

So he swore to them with

uplifted hand that he would

make them fall in the desert.Psalm 106:24-26

And do not grumble, as some

of them did—and were killed

by the destroying angel.1 Corinthians 10:10

1. Our attitude not only affects the

atmosphere, our attitude affects

our outcome.

And said to the entire Israelite

assembly, “The land we passed

through and explored is

exceedingly good. If the Lord is

pleased with us, he will lead us into

that land, a land flowing with milk

and honey, and will give it to us.

Only do not rebel against the Lord.

And do not be afraid of the people

of the land, because we will swallow

them up. Their protection is gone,

but the Lord is with us.Numbers 14:7-9

If you put these people to death all at

one time, the nations who have heard

this report about you will say, “The Lord

was not able to bring these people into

the land he promised them on oath; so

he slaughtered them in the desert.” Now

may the Lord’s strength be displayed…Numbers 14:15-17

At that time Jesus, full of joy

though the Holy Spirit, said,

“I praise you, Father…Luke 10:21

And the disciples were

filled with joy and with

the Holy Spirit.Acts 13:52

3. There ought to be no burden in

loving God, serving God or doing

what he says.

You have forsaken your first love.

Remember the height from which

you have fallen! Repent and do

the things you did at first.Revelation 2:4-5
