Hello Everyone,We began a new year with new faces and new ideas, and yet we are linked so closely to those ladies who have been here before us. As they were called, we are called. They felt their call was one of service and were willing to makesac-rifices to help those in

need. You inspire me as I see the same dedication in you today. And there is joy as we join the dance of United Methodist Women. We link hands with the past and stretch hands towards the future, and we link hands around the world. I remember Haiti and the women of Haiti as after the horrible earth-quake,they joined hands and danced in worship. I marveled at their wonderful faith at such a time. But this is who we are, worshiping and serving our Christ through bad times and good times and stretching out our hands to those who are experi-encing the bad times –and the good times. This is our dance of redeeming grace. And we dance be-cause we are sisters, uniting in Christ. One person can do much, but UMW sisters together can turn the world upside down. So let us experience this joy and join hands together in dance and service. Let the Light shine through us.

Blessings,

Lee
