Welcome to the 2S-4 District magazine informing you of what's happening in the 2S-4 of Texas To submit your stories and pictures please submit by the 20th of the month for the following months edition. Submit your Pictures story formatted in Microsoft word. And attach original photos so that they maintain quality in reproduction.

Your story will be put into the newsletter as you write it The editorial staff will do minimum editing and only to fit for space etc. We recommend you appoint someone in your club to write and submit your photos to the District Governor Ron Martin at grapevinegiftslj@aol.com.

October 4th, 5th, 6th Kemah Lions club held their first community event in Kemah at the Oktoberfest. The goal of the event was to let Kemah know about the Kemah Lions Club and Sign up members. The event was wildly successful by obtaining information on perspective members and signing several new members. Kemah Lions raffled off a Texan chair and Passes to the Kemah Boardwalk and raised $1,000 toward the purchase of their own Spot Device. On Saturday Oct 5th Eye Screenings where conducted for 50 children and adults. Identifying over half as having eye problems and needing further screening by an eye doctor.
