combination of state funding, philanthropy and strategic internal reallocation

for facilities, deferred maintenance, renovation and new construction.

– Re-opening of the landmark Jack K. Williams Administration Building,

– Current renovations of Scoates and Francis Halls (which will house

Agricultural Engineering, Architecture and Construction Science programs)

& Enhancements to the Student Recreation Center New construction and

research and service capabilities.

Academic Affairs

– Broaden Scope of Public Partnership & Outreach to include

additional State/Regional Outreach as well as Global Partnership

Support

– Enhance promotion of Signature Affiliation Agreements(12), Existing

Foreign Civil Associations (CR & MEX),Unique Center Partnerships

(Saints Chiara & Clara) & Soltis Center (wholly owned by gift) as

resources for college and university partnership development

– Enhance cross college communication by operationalizing

International Focus across Campus through internal consultancy

(International Programs Committee) and external consultancy

– Support Admissions by alleviating 2 positions focused on Outreach,

instead of Admissions/Recruitment

– Support Vice Provost by realigning partnership services,

management and effectiveness, allowing focus on curricular and

high impact learning experiences

– Support Provost by aligning communication staff resources for all of

academic affairs units

– Support academic space needs by co-locating all on vacated 8th

Floor Rudder.

– Will eliminate 4 vacant positions, create salary savings in units and

for Provost to reallocate to Colleges

– Improve coordination and quality of services to faculty,

colleges, and administration by maximizing professional

staff skill sets.14
