• Founded at Cornell University on February 19th, 1982.

• National structure: National Council, Board of Trustees, and Graduate and Undergraduate Chapters

• To address Latino Issues that were not being met by academic institutions and help in the empowerment and betterment of all Latinos

• Only Latino fraternal organization founded at an Ivy League School
