Code of Ethics

• It is a breach of professional ethics for school personnel to:– Provide verbal and/or non-verbal clues or answers– Teach items on the test– Coach, hint, or in any way influence a student’s

performance

BEWARE!

• There are consequences!– Invalidation of test scores – Personnel sanctions SUCH AS LOSS OF PAY– Revoking of Admin/Teaching Credentials

Security on your site . . .

• Keep all Test Materials under lock and key• Place materials in a secured location• When training test examiners, keep all materials

in the review room• Account for all materials at all times• Obtain signatures on certification of training

Must be signed by:

• School Test Coordinators

• Teachers serving as Test Examiners

• Proctors

• Anyone else with access to test
