In May 1984, TESMEC USA was established. It is the Tesmec Group subsidiary operating in design, production and marketing of Trenchers


In 2000 Tesmec S.p.A. introduced their trenching machines into Qatar.

In January of 2007, Tesmec Middle East Co. W.L.L. was established as exclusive TESMEC distributor for Qatar to carry on the increasing market demand in trenching and related field.

In January of 2010, Saudi Tesmec Company was established to provide after sales services for trencher machines to Saudi Arabian market.

In March of 2011, Tesmec Peninsula was established to be full responsible for Arabian Peninsula market and aiming to extend services to the customers supplying trencher machines, spare parts and after sales services.

Tesmec Guarantee


In many digging conditions trenching is the most cost efficient and fastest way:

Less cubic meters dug for each linear meter of production.

Material dug by trenchers could be used for back filling, sometimes also sand-bedding and covering of pipes, conduits and cables.

A smaller quantity of dug material has to be hauled to disposal, in comparison with use of excavators. Also a smaller quantity of back-fill material is needed.

To achieve the same daily production, 3 to 12 excavators are required instead of 1 large trencher.

When the job site is on the road, the trenching does not require the asphalt cutting machines and reduces the width of asphalt strip to be reinstated.

Restoration of ditch is easier and less expensive than excavators because a vertical wall trench requires less backfill material than a “V” wall excavator trench. It is also easier to get good compaction of backfill material, for reduced erosion and lower risk of surface collapse.

Why Trenching?


A TESMEC machine is a rock or permafrost trencher; its design for trenching has been then modified to also work in soft soil. Competitors’ machines are largely dirt trenchers modified to dig rock.

The question is: why to buy a TESMEC trencher instead of a dirt trencher?

The answer is simple: a TESMEC trencher can easily dig soft soil; a dirt trencher cannot cut rock or permafrost efficiently.

Trenching has been accepted for two main reasons: productivity and cost efficiency.

DESIGN TESMEC’s technical solutions specific for rock trenching are:

Hydrostatic drive with flywheel gearboxes

Automatic digging system with fast-acting creep control

Automatic hydraulic stabilizers



POWER TRANSMISSION TESMEC uses an industry exclusive flywheel

gearbox design. This design allows the shock load to be absorbed

by the gearboxes, rather than the hydraulic system.

TESMEC uses a 100 % Hydraulic power system with mechanical final drive (flywheel gearboxes).years of experience.

HYDRAULIC DRIVE MACHINE WITH FLYWHEEL GEARBOXESThere are advantages of using hydraulic power drive with flywheel gearbox compare to others.1. The flywheel gearbox stores energy for digging and can instantaneously deliver over two

times the max torque of the hydraulic transmission.2. This eliminates shock on the hydraulic system.3. The efficiency loss is much less than that of a traditional pure hydraulic trencher.4. We feature multi-speed hydraulic systems because our gearboxes can handle the required

additional torque.



AUTOMATIC

Static balance of the trenching machines is not as important as the dynamic balance (while digging).

All TESMEC trenchers feature automatic hydraulic stabilizers.

The hydraulic stabilizers consist of two supplementary steel frames groveling on the ditch edges loaded by two hydraulic cylinders working at preset working floating pressures

The vibrations and the shocks transferred by the trenching attachment are mainly absorbed by the stabilizers and not transmitted to the tractor.



ENGINES

TESMEC supplies Caterpillar and Cummins engines with heavy duty set up for continuous work at max load.

All engines are mounted in the machine on an engine skid module. This allows for easy removal of the engine for major overhauls.

AUTOMATIC DIGGING SYSTEM AND CREEP CONTROL

Real time load sensing of the digging attachment controlling the hydraulic pressure of the digging loop. This system results in the capability to keep the engine continuously at the rated RPM and Max Power out, so the digging chain benefits continuously of all the available power.
