DataDirect software transfers the measured value from the instrument to an open program on the computer. This software is doing like a keyboard on a writable field, this guarantee compatibility will all software. DataDirect

The main window shows the used connection ports and the set instrument. Enable the acquisition, activate basically all communication with used ports. The setup of each COM port and also the Wireless system is accessible with setup button on this page.

TESA instruments are already set into the instrument list. The corresponding protocol is defined for most common TESA instruments. For all other instruments and also other brands, the option new instrument allows setting as you need the instrument according to RS 232 protocol.

Another page of DataDirect is the dynamic display. There the user can choose which instrument is displayed in a little window on screen. The display will do a request a few times a second to the instrument and display the value. For instruments with more than one value on a measure, this page permit a selection of need values.

Various options are available to increase the quality of the transferred value. Details like date, time and instrument name are important especially if many instruments are connected. Managing all those incoming values is done choosing commands to add between or after values.

Sometimes the customer doesn't have or doesn't need a control on screen, a simple background archiving is enough and allow to use the computer with something else.

Mainly used with height gages, it can also be used as an adapter for old cables. It works also as duplex cable.

Wireless

The wireless technology connects until 120 instruments together on one or more computer. The transfer is mono-directional from transmitter to receiver. Open field range is 150m.
