Main Propulsion

Main Engines (2) CAT 3516C series, 2448 HP (1,825 KW) @ 1600 RPM Continuous Duty rating, with pre-lube & coolant pre-heat systems.

Main Gears (2) ZF Model 7646, 4.0:1 ratio, with trailing pumps, trolling valves and PTO’s for stern thruster hydraulic pumps.

Propellers (2) VEEM – 5 Blades, NiBrAl, CNC machining

Propulsion Controls Propulsion controls are CAT supplied ZF Micro- Commander controls. The components for each control station are listed below. The propulsion system can also be controlled via the Navis JP-4000 integrated control joy-stick system.

Integrated Control System The Navis JP-4000 Joystick Pilot System will provide free vessel maneuvering in any desired direction, and during mooring and loading

operations. This system was specifically designed for yacht applications where free maneuvering in limited space is required. The JP-4000 system utilizes inputs from the vessel’s gyro compass, DGPS, and speed log systems (included in the vessel’s electronics equipment package).

Main Switchboard Hyak Electroworks – Integrated shore power conditioning and conversion system, with fully auto-paralleling control system. Converts any input voltage and frequency from shore power.

Emergency Switchboard The yacht will be supplied with an Emergency AC switchboard. This switchboard will provide power to the AC Power Distribution Panels’ essential circuits.

Fuel Oil Centrifuge (2) Redundant Fuel Purifiers with control panel, water seal alarm, and outlet flow meter sized per system requirements.

Fuel Filtration (2) Fuel Filter/Water Separators for main engine

primary filtration; sized per main engines’ flow requirements. (4) Fuel Filter/Water Separators for generator filtration; sized per generator engines’ flow requirements. (6) Fuel Priming Pumps, 24v DC, to prime main engines’ and generators’ primary filters and supply piping after service.
