We strive to create an environment where safety comes first so that incidents are prevented. All employees are expected to share the responsibility for safe work environments. They are required to identify hazards, take steps to mitigate the hazards if they cannot be eliminated, and perform their duties in a safe and responsible manner. We have developed a comprehensive safety program requiring all employees to have regular in-house safety training plus attend external courses such as H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), and Standard First Aid and CPR.

TERRAPROTM is a full service access matting sales and rental company. Getting equipment to site is often a tremendous obstacle for energy construction and remediation projects, and also creates environmental protection concerns. That’s the challenge the TERRAPROTM team helps their clients tackle with access matting solutions that allow you to move equipment efficiently and operate in remote areas in an environmentally friendly way. TERRAPROTM has a current rental fleet of 45,000 mats strategically located close to industry activity in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. We offer a range of products depending on application including steel rig mats, crane mats, lightweight heavy duty composite mats, and access or swamp

mats. Our access mats are constructed of hardwood oak which extends the life of the mat and reduces costs related to operational damages.

Environmental Services Our reclamation and remediation services division helps restore damaged land with a range of services including erosion control. As a team, we take huge pride in returning land to its original state while providing a safe, secure and stable work place for all. We are contributing sustainability where perceived environmental challenges face energy construction projects. We are proud of the reclamation sites we have worked on over the years. Each day we can drive around looking at farm land or forested areas where you can no longer see any indication of construction activity. Services include erosion control, vegetation management, mowing, mulching, fencing, water pump off, site clean-up, seeding, and winter access.

Unique Solutions to Environmental Problems

Remediation

TERRAPROTM specializes in the remediation of contaminated soil resulting from commercial activities and uncontrolled discharges or spills. We remediate many different types of soil contaminants including hydrocarbon, organic chemicals, salt, sterilants, and trace metals. We design site specific remedial approaches around unique site conditions and client objectives. Our projects range from small single well-sites to large pipeline & transmission contaminated sites.

Right-of-Way Clearing

Right-of-way clearing is an ongoing service that TERRAPROTM offers that’s specialized to promote the safe and efficient operation of the pipelines. Our service enables pipeline owners to meet its objectives of protecting the integrity of the pipeline and effectively responding to emergency situations when needed. The service includes clearing and managing any unnecessary growth in right-of-way areas. Clearing of any trees located near the pipeline is necessary because roots from trees planted within or approaching the right-of-way can wrap around the pipeline and damage its protective coating, causing pipeline corrosion. Tree root systems are drawn to the warmth and moisture of pipelines and often abnormal and excessive root growth patterns are experienced near pipelines. Clearing the right-of-way of trees that threaten pipeline integrity helps ensure the safety of the surrounding community.

Reclamation TERRAPROTM manages a large portfolio of well-site, small facility and powerline reclamation work. Annually we manage the reclamation activities on well-sites, small facilities and powerline projects. The foundation of our success is the honest and open relationships we have developed with clients, contractors, landowners and regulatory personnel. These relationships have been fostered through communication, commitment to issue resolution and our ‘work hard and be the best’ standard. We have years of corporate experience in grassland, cultivated and forested land reclamation in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Members of TERRAPROTM ’s reclamation team have 3 to 25 years of individual experience in oil and gas site reclamation. We are very adept at re-contouring leases using small and heavy construction equipment and establishing vegetation in the harshest of conditions. We are native prairie experts. TERRAPROTM ’s dedicated and seasoned reclamation team operates in a way to reclaim and return leased land back to landowners as quickly as possible.

Contaminated Soil Remediation Services

Our environmental consultants start with soil sampling to determine the volume impacted as well as the concentration and types of impacts in the soil. We then recommend a cost-effective soil remediation solution.

Mulching & Winter Access

TERRAPROTM offers full-service mulching & winter access solutions with tough, capable operators and a fleet of equipment capable for any job. We specialize in a full range of mulching management services from right-of-way clearing, clean-up and winter access road construction.

Restoration After analysing the type of waste, TERRAPROTM

will manage the excavation and transportation of your contaminated waste to an approved waste management facility for treatment and/or disposal. Once your remediation program is complete, our environmental consultants will test the soil at your site again to ensure it meets federal and provincial criteria for unconditional land usage. TERRAPROTM will then apply for your reclamation certificate and begin the process to restore your site to its natural state.
