Event Info:

TTSH CR2015 is an annual fundraising event to raise funds for our needy patients. This 5

th edition goes back to Thailand.

60 Cyclists will be cycling from Krabi to Phuket for 2 days. Total distance: Day 1 Advance:160km Novice: 60km Day 2 Advance: 48km Novice: 36km

Registration: Open

Donation amount to raise:

Each cyclist will need to raise a minimum of: The Full Challenge route: S$ 1,000.00 per person or Novice Adventure Trail: S$800 per person

3.0 tax exemptions will be issued.

Participation cost:

Each cyclist will need to pay SGD$ 700 as participation cost. Not a donation. No tax exemption will be issued. Participation cost consist of the following:

2 nos 1-way flight on TIGERAIR inclusive of all taxes and 2-way sports equipment baggage.

All ride logistics 2 Lunches Twin sharing hotel stay at 2 hotels (2nights) Daily breakfast for 16 & 17 May 2015.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS - IMPORTANT!

1. We have made special arrangements with our Official Airline Partner – Tigerair to provide a special rate for all TTSH Charity Ride 2015 participants. The special rate includes 2-way flight arrangements to Krabi and back to Singapore via Phuket, all taxes and a 2-way sports equipment baggage for your bike.

2. The organisers will book your flight based on the following flight timing:

DEPARTURE (Singapore Changi Airport – Krabi International Airport) that: Depart on 15 May 2015. DEP: Flight: TR2182 10.05am to 11.10am (Krabi time)

RETURN (Phuket International Airport - Singapore Changi Airport) that: Returns on 17 May 2015 DEP: Flight: TR2159 07:50 PM to 10:45 PM

3. The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any individual’s property or belongings.

GENERAL

1. Completion and submission of the online registration/ hard copy registration forms would signify the participant’s agreement to accept and abide by the rules and regulations, and the Terms & Conditions in the Indemnity Form stated by the TTSH Community Fund (Organizer) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital Charity Ride 2015.

2. These rules apply at the material time and to all and any ruling of the Organizers.

3. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizers to ensure the safety of our cyclists are not compromised, participating in this event is at your own risk and the Organizers shall not be liable for any bodily injuries, loss and/or damage to property, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising.

4. Cyclists must pay SGD700.00 each upon registration for their participation cost within 10 working days of registration.

This participation cost includes: 2-way flight arrangements on Tigerair inclusive of all taxes and 2-way sports

equipment baggage.

1 nights’ accommodation on twin-share basis @ Aonang Villa Resort (Krabi) with

breakfast.

1 nights’ accommodation on twin-share basis @ D Varee Mai Khao Beach (Phuket)

with breakfast.

Ride logistics (2 days of cycling)

Meals as stated in event schedule

This is upfront payment for the cost of participation. This is not a donation and therefore not entitled to tax-exemption.

Strictly no refunds will be given in the event of cancellation, withdrawal of participation, ‘no-show’. In such instances, the participation cost amounted will be directed to the TTSH Community Fund and receive 3.0 times tax-exemption.

5. To secure and confirm participation, all cyclists must fulfil the minimum donation amount for:

Full Challenge: S$ 1,000.00 per person or

Novice Adventure Trail: S$800 per person

All minimum donations must be fulfilled by 15 Apr 2015. Donations raised will be channelled to the TTSH Community Fund.

Registration will only be deemed as confirmed upon submission of the full minimum donation amount by 15 Apr 2015.

The Organizers reserve the right to limit and/or refuse entries without explanation.

The Organizers will not be responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete/wrong entry details given by the participants. Please inform the Organizers of any

discrepancy in information by 15 Apr 2015.

6. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. All donations received will still be directed to the TTSH Community Fund. The 3.0 times tax exemption entitlement will still be honored. The Organizer shall not be liable for any consequential loss or inconvenience caused.

7. The Organizer reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to riders, to amend cycling routes as it deems fit for the safety of the riders and/or to prevent any potential hazards. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience consequential to such changes.

8. The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any individual’s property or belongings. The Organiser also reserves the right to security check any item or baggage.

CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION

1. Participants should be experienced cyclists who are familiar with long distance cycling and undulating road terrain.

2. Participants should be comfortable with riding in a peloton at an average speed of 25km/h and above.

3. Only Road bikes are allowed. Road bikes are highly recommended due to the terrain and ride format. MTB/ Hybrid bikes are NOT allowed due to the nature and configurations of the ride.

4. Helmets are strictly mandatory for all the riders.

WET WEATHER ADVISORY

1. In the event of rain, the peloton may opt to seek the nearest shelter, continue cycling or proceed with the journey on the transportation provided. The peloton must stay together and no cyclist should cycle solo.

2. The Organizers reserve the right to amend the schedule or cancel the cycling component due to inclement weather.

3. Should the event be cancelled, the donations collected will still be directed to the TTSH Community Fund. The 3.0 times tax exemption entitlement will still be honored.

MEDICAL ADVISORY

1. All participants should be reasonably conditioned physically to participate in this event.

2. All cyclists are responsible for their own safety and physical condition, and should seek professional medical clearance before registering for the event.

3. Participants are advised to refrain from consuming stimulants or any kind of drugs 24 hours prior to the event unless advised by your doctor.

4. Please ensure that you are well-rested and well-hydrated on each day of cycling.

5. Should you feel unwell during the course of event, you are advised to stop and seek immediate medical attention from the accompanying ambulance and medics.

6. The Organizers reserve the right to deny any participant who appears to be physically incapable of continuing with the cycling event.

There is insurance coverage for medical expenses incurred in Thailand, for up to 500,000.00Baht. You MUST get your own Personal Accident & Travel insurance coverage for this event inclusive of medical evacuation coverage.
