Terms and Conditions

Inspection of Cattle:

Sale Cattle may be inspected during the Hoosier Beef Con-gress at any time starting Thursday, November 29th at 12:00 pm (noon) until Saturday, December 1 prior to the sale.

Terms:

Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any dispute as to bids. All cattle are to be paid for by the purchaser during or immediately after the sale. Sale Cattle will not be released to the buyer until paid for in full. All guarantees, including breeding guarantees, are strictly between the buyer and seller.

Absentee Bids:

If you are unable to attend the sale but would like to place a bid, you may do so by making arrangements with any of the sale staff prior to the sale. Or if you choose to bid “live” by phone, make those arrangements prior to the start of the sale with the sale staff.

Liability and Insurance:

Each animal will be the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. Buyers can obtain Insurance at the sale settle-ment area. All persons who attend the sale, do so at their own risk. The Hoosier Beef Congress Committee, Indiana Beef Cat-tle Association and the Sale Livestock Consignors assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident that may occur.

Health:

All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment.

Registration Certificates:

The registration certificate of each animal will be transferred to the buyer at the consignor’s expense. Each buyer must be sure to give the transfer clerk the proper name and address for making transfers. All calves born after the sale are to be regis-tered by the new owner. Proper breeding statements will be signed by the seller for the buyer to use in registering calves born after the sale. Credit Cards: We accept all major credit cards

Announcements:

All announcements at the sale by the owner or auctioneers concerning the cattle will take precedence over statements in the sale catalog.

Breeding Information:

The breeding information in the sale catalog is subject to change prior to the sale. Any changes in the breeding status of an animal will be noted and announced by the auctioneer.

Releasing Sale Livestock Post-Sale:

It is the responsibility of the Consignor to verify that the Buyer has a receipt from IBCA that is stamped “Paid in Full” prior to releasing the animal to the buyer.

• This early April Primo daughter is very uniquely built in terms of an Angus female. Very elegant in her design from the side profile with a look about her front one third that screams "show heifer". She's got a big set of feet and legs under her while still remaining true, square and sound at the ground. An impressive part about this female is the fact that she doesn't disappear when you get behind her - she maintains plenty of muscle shape and dimension from that perspective. This heifer is out of a larger frame sized cow and reads to have plenty of grow into her future. She'll make a fun show heifer this winter and an exciting bred female next summer on into next fall!
