IEC FE E D TH R O U G H DIN RA I L TE R M I N A L BL O C K Sc3controls WTB2 Series of feed through terminal blocks have been designed to meet the strict specifications and standards of UL, CSA,and IEC. The WTB2 Series of terminal blocks is manufactured with a direct mounting foot for 32mm and 35mm standard DIN rails.

In addition to the mounting feature, the WTB2 Series is constructed using only the best available materials for both the housing and clamping bodies and parts. The housing is molded out of an unbreakable high quality thermoplastic — polyamide 6.6. The metal bodiesare made of a high quality zinc plated, brass and electrolytic copper to provide excellent conductivity and minimize corrosion problems.

The WTB2 Series accepts wires as small as 0.5mm2 (24 AWG) and as large as 120mm2 (4/0 AWG), up to 232 Amps. Wiring to the terminal blocks is made easy by the funnel entry design of the housing. Accessories such as circuit bridges, end plates, partition plates, and markers make the WTB2 Series a flexible alternative to any feed through wiring or power distribution application.

SC R E W CL A M P GR O U N D I N G TE R M I N A L SUse of grounding terminals instead of grounding studs and wire lugs to terminate ground wires saves installation and wiring timesubstantially. Grounding terminals clamp mechanically onto the DIN Rail by tightening the center mounting screw, making a reliableelectrical connection between the current bar and the DIN Rail. The rail serves as a bus bar and automatically distributes ground potentialto all other ground terminals on the same rail. Grounding terminals can also be used as end stops, preventing other terminal blocks andcomponents from moving laterally on the DIN Rail. Grounding terminals are supplied with a green/yellow polyamide 6.6 housing asstandard for easy identification and international acceptance. The brass mounting foot is tin-plated for low contact grounding resistance.

MU LT I-CO N D U C T O R SC R E W CL A M PThe multi-conductor screw clamp terminals offer a reliable solution for multiple wire connections. The terminal eliminates conventionalcross connections, looping wires and reliability problems encountered when connecting two wires in one clamp. The terminals providemultiple connection points in the terminal itself, and the possibility of further multiplication of connections with circuit bridges. Themulti-conductor terminal blocks can even be bridged to standard feed through screw clamp terminal blocks of the same conductor size.

WTB2-W4-12 features one termination point on one side and two termination points on the other side, while the WTB2-W4-22 has twotermination points on each side. Bridging facility is at the center of the terminals.

The simplified three level connectionsfacilitate higher wire termination density. The WTB2-TL2 feed-through terminals, with connecting points at all the three levels, offer multiple choices of signal and power distribution at any level. The top level of the WTB2-TL2S provides connecting points forthe signal while the middle and bottom level connecting points are used for the positive and negative voltage supply connections. FU S E HO L D E R TE R M I N A L SCertain electrical and control systems require fuse protection – fuse holder terminals offer a convenient solution. The fuse holder terminal has a hinged fuse carrier. The fuse can be engaged or disengaged by moving the carrier. Terminals are available to accept 5 x 20mm or 5 x 25mm fuses and 1/4” X 1-1/4” fuses for North American applications. A spare fuse can be placed in the carrier of WTB2-FB52 and WTB2-FB52L terminals. Identification with markers is possible on both the terminals and the fuse carrier. Fuse holder terminals, WTB2-FB52L, include LED indication. A specially designed built-in circuit gives indication when the fuseblows, clearly identifying a fault in the circuit.

The WTB2 Series of terminal blocks is manufactured with a direct mounting foot for 35mm standard DIN rails.

In addition to the mounting feature, the WTB2 Series is constructed using only the best available materials for both the housing and clampingbodies and parts. The housing is molded out of an unbreakable high quality thermoplastic — polyamide 6.6. The metal bodies are made of ahigh quality zinc plated, brass and electrolytic copper to provide excellent conductivity and minimize corrosion problems.

The WTB2 Series accepts wires as small as 0.5mm2 (22 AWG) and as large as 10mm2 (8 AWG), up to 50 Amps. The wiring to the terminalblocks is made easy by the funnel entry design of the housing. Accessories such as circuit bridges, end plates, partition plates, and markersmake the WTB2 Series a flexible alternative to any feed through wiring or power distribution application.

The spring clamp is operated by using a screw driver to provide access for wiring through the opening in the spring clamp. The wire is heldagainst current bar directly by a pre-stressed spring clamp. Specially designed alloy feet help to achieve very low contact resistance andvibration proof grounding. Spring clamp ground terminals can be mounted on 35mm DIN rails along with other terminals, and eliminate the need for a separate grounding bus bar. The ground terminal block profile is the same as the feed through terminal blocks ofsame wire size.

The terminal eliminates conventionalcross connections, looping wires and reliability problems encountered when connecting two wires in one clamp. The terminals providemultiple connection points in the terminal itself, and the possibility of further multiplication of connections with circuit bridges. The multi-conductor terminal blocks can even be bridged to standard feed through spring clamp terminal blocks of same conductor size.

WTB2S-W*-12 features one termination point on one side and two termination points on the other side, while the WTB2S-W*-22 has two termination points on each side. Bridging facility is at the center of the terminals.

The user-friendly operatorviews work on a “what you see is what you get” principle. Meaning you can adjust character size and type, rotate characters, and plot symbols from Excel files, text files, database files, and CAD/CAE files.

There is a $25 set-up fee for c3controls to print custom markers. Submit an Excel file, text file, database file, or CAE/CAD file using yourpurchase order as the name of the file with the file type extension.

General – c3controls and Customer agree that theterms and conditions identified in this document and inany written c3controls specification of services to befurnished hereunder shall govern exclusively the sale or licensing by c3controls of all Goods, products andservices (collectively referred to as “GOODS”). No addition or modification to any of the terms and conditions as they appear in this document shall bebinding upon c3controls unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of c3controls.c3controls objects to other terms and conditions that may be proposed by Customer.

Terms – Payment terms to Customers with Satisfactorycredit are net thirty (30) days from date of invoice.

If payment of any amount owed to c3controls is notmade when due, c3controls reserves the right (in addition to and without limitation of its other rights) to suspend further performance without liability untilsuch payment has been made. Customer agrees toreimburse c3controls for reasonable attorneys’ fees andany other costs associated with collecting delinquentpayments.

Minimum Order – c3controls has a $50 minimumorder policy. Orders less than $100 must be made bycredit card. Orders over $100 can be made through apurchase order.

Shipment – Shipment will be F.O.B. c3controls factory, warehouse or other point of shipment byc3controls. Customer to pay all shipping, insurance andrelated expenses. Scheduled or stipulated shippingdates are approximate and based upon prompt receiptof all necessary information from Customer.

If shipment is delayed at the request of or due to actsor omissions by Customer, c3controls shall have theright to store the Goods at a place of its own choice atthe Customer’s risk and expense.

Title and Responsibility – Title to Goods shall remainwith c3controls as security only and until full payment.Risk of loss or damage shall pass to Customer uponshipment from F.O.B point.

All replacement Goods provided hereunder shall be furnished on an exchange basis and may be new or if not new, shall be equivalent in performance.The replaced Goods shall become the property of c3controls.

Export Packing – c3controls will pack Goods for airshipment and underdeck shipment in accordance withits regular export standard at no additional charge toCustomer. Where such packing for export must conformto definite specifications that differ from the c3controlsstandard, Customer will be charged for the extra costincurred.

Shipping Weights and Dimensions – Publishedweights are careful estimates but are not warranted.Dimensions shown in catalog are approximate.

Quotations – All written quotations automatically expire unless accepted within thirty (30) days from the date quoted. Verbal quotations expire at the close of business on the same day they are made.In order for catalog orders to be binding, quotationsmust specifically identify Goods and list the actualquantities involved. All stenographic and clerical errorsare subject to correction. All quotations are subject toapproval by an authorized representative of c3controls.

Published Prices – Prices shown in any c3controlspublication are subject to change without notice and are not to be construed as a definite quotation or offer to sell by c3controls. Such publication is maintained only as a source of general information,and any prices shown therein are subject to confirmation with a specific quotation. Orders will be invoiced at prices prevailing at time of shipment.

With respect to services, unless otherwise agreed inwriting by c3controls and Customer, (i) the price of anyservices shall be the c3controls published price thereforin effect as of the date such services are provided:and (ii) c3controls shall have the right to increase ordecrease the price of any service effective with respectto any portion of service that have not been provided asof the date of such price change.

Taxes – The Customer shall pay or reimburse c3controls for all sales, use, excise or similar taxes.

Scope Change – All changes affecting Goods, deliverydate or otherwise affecting the scope of the order are to be documented in writing and are subject to priorapproval of an authorized representative of c3controls.All changes approved by c3controls may result in price,delivery, specification, and/or other changes.

Warranty – Unless otherwise provided in writing andapproved by c3controls, c3controls warrants for a period of two (2) years from the date of c3controlsinvoice that all Goods furnished under the order will beof merchantable quality free from defects in materialworkmanship and design, each as determined, at thedate of shipment by c3controls by general recognized,applicable and accepted practices and procedures inthe industry, and shall include any specifications asagreed to in writing by c3controls prior to the date ofshipment. c3controls will not be liable for any designfurnished by Customer and incorporated into the Goods.These include Goods purchased by c3controls for salewith the Goods manufactured by c3controls when thedecision to include such Goods is solely that of c3controls. Otherwise, any warranty applicable to suchGoods shall be limited solely to the warranty extendedto c3controls by the original manufacturer. Repaired or replacement Goods are warranted for a period of six(6) months from the date of invoice, or the remainder of the original warrant term, whichever is longer.

Satisfaction of this warranty, consistent with other provisions herein, will be limited to the replacement,or repair or modification of, or issuance of a credit for the Goods involved, at c3controls option, only after the return of such Goods with c3controls consent in accordance with RETURN OF EQUIPMENT.

Such warranty satisfaction is available only if (i) c3controls is promptly notified in writing upon discoveryof an alleged defect and (ii) c3controls examination ofthe subject Goods discloses, to its satisfaction, that anyalleged defect has not been caused by misuse; neglect;improper installation; improper operation; impropermaintenance, repair alteration or modification; accident;or unusual deterioration or degradation of the Goods orparts thereof due to physical environment or due toelectrical or electromagnetic noise environment. THISWARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIESWHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORYINCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITYOR FITNESS and thereby excludes certifications or thelike for product performance, use or design withrespect to any standard, regulation or the like (unlessand to the extent independently approved in writing by an authorized representative) of C3CONTROLS AND (iii) EXTENDS ONLY TO CUSTOMER PURCHASINGFROM C3CONTROLS OR AUTHORIZED C3CONTROLSRESELLER.

Limit of Liability – IN NO EVENT, REGARDLESS OFCAUSE, SHALL C3CONTROLS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITYFOR OR BE LIABLE (i) FOR PENALTIES OR PENALTYCLAUSES OR ANY DESCRIPTION, OR (ii) FOR INDEMNIFICATION OF CUSTOMER OR OTHERS FORCOSTS, DAMAGES, OR EXPENSES EACH ARISING OUTOF OR RELATED TO THE GOODS OR SERVICES OF THISORDER, OR FOR CERTIFICATION, UNLESS OTHERWISESPECIFICALLY PROVIDED HEREIN, OR (iii) FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, INCLUDING ANY LOSS, INJURY OR OTHER DAMAGES. C3CONTROLS MAXIMUM LIABILITY, INCLUDING DIRECT DAMAGES, SHALL NOTEXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE ORDER. THISLIMITATION OF C3CONTROLS LIABILITY WILL APPLYREGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION WHETHER INCONTRACT OR TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE. ANYACTION AGAINST C3CONTROLS MUST BE BROUGHTWITHIN EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS AFTER THE CAUSE OFACTION ACCRUES. Notwithstanding any provision ofthese Terms and Conditions, c3controls shall not beliable to any person for incidental, indirect, special orconsequential damages, or for lost profits, savings orrevenues of any kind, whether or not c3controls hasbeen advised of the possibility of such damages. Forpurposes of this section, c3controls shall be deemed to include c3controls, it’s subsidiaries and affiliates,and the directors, officers, employees, agents,representatives, subcontractors and suppliers ofall of them.

Export Control – Any Goods or technical data suppliedby c3controls under these Terms and Conditions aresubject to the United States Export Administration Actand Regulations thereunder, which includes the licensingof certain products. It is the responsibility of theexporter to comply with the Act and Regulations.

Return of Equipment – Approval for return of Goods,whether under the Warranty clause or otherwise, mustbe obtained from an authorized representative ofc3controls. No approval shall be granted for the returnof Goods under any circumstances where the originalinvoice date for such Goods is more than ninety (90)days prior to the date that a request is made to c3controls for such approval. All Goods returned mustinclude reference to all pertinent order information forthose Goods, including order, part, model, and serialnumbers as well as details of the system from whichthe Goods were removed, when appropriate. Except forGoods under warranty, cost for placing Goods returnedfor credit in a saleable condition will be charged toCustomer. Goods returned must be carefully packed soas to reach c3controls without damage.

Goods accepted for return, which are not covered by awarranty, are subject to a minimum restocking chargeplus all transportation charges incurred by c3controls.

Replacement Goods returned to c3controls must be in arepairable condition; otherwise, Customer will be billedper c3controls policy.

Goods built to a Customer’s specification or Goods thathave been modified by the Customer cannot bereturned for credit under any conditions.

All Goods to be returned must be shipped to locationsstipulated by c3controls at the time c3controls approvesthe return of the Goods. The shipping container of all returned Goods must be clearly markedin accordance with c3controls directives.

Cancellation and Termination – Any order or contractmay be terminated by the Customer by written noticeand upon payment to c3controls of reasonable andproper cancellation charges, including but not limited to all labor, facility, and equipment costs identified in theorder or contract and which have been incurred prior to the date of notice of cancellation. All additional costsresulting from the cancellation and ten percent (10%) ofthe final net price will be included in the cancellationcharges to compensate for disruptions in scheduling,planned production, and other direct costs. Paymentshall be made within thirty (30) days from date of invoice.

c3controls shall have the right to cancel any order or contract at any time by written notice due to anybreach of the order or contract by the Customer.c3controls shall be entitled to collect cancellationcharges as identified above.

No termination by Customer for default shall be effective unless and until c3controls shall have failed to correct such alleged default within (45) days afterreceipt by c3controls of the written notice specifyingsuch default.

Force Majeure – c3controls shall not be liable for anyloss, damage or delay in delivery due to acts of God orcauses beyond its reasonable control including acts ofthe Customer, acts of God or military authority, fires,strikes, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, war,riots, delays in transportation, embargoes, or inabilitydue to causes beyond its reasonable control to obtainnecessary engineering talent, labor, materials, or manufacturing facilitates. In the event of such delay,the delivery date shall be extended for that length oftime as may be reasonably necessary to compensatefor the delay.

Intellectual Property – c3controls shall defend any suit or proceeding brought against Customer or anyCustomer of Customer, so far as the same is basedupon a claim that the design or construction of Goodssold by c3controls infringe a United States Patent,Copyright or Mask Work Registration (excepting a claimbased upon a design or modification incorporated insuch Goods at the request of Customer); provided thatCustomer promptly notifies c3controls of any such suitor proceeding in writing and provided that at c3controlsexpense (a) Customer gives c3controls the right todefend or control the defense of any such suit or proceeding, including settlement, and (b) Customer provides all necessary information and assistance for

defense. This obligation to defend shall extend, in thecase of non-standard Goods sold by c3controls toCustomer, to a claim based upon the use of Goods butonly when such use is not in combination with anyother apparatus and only to the extent that c3controlswas informed by Customer of such use in writing priorto the date of c3controls shipment of the Goods. Noimplied license is granted to use the Goods in anyinfringing manner.

c3controls will pay all costs and damages finallyawarded or agreed upon by c3controls that are directlyrelated to any such claim. In the event the Goods, orany part thereof, is in such suit held to constituteinfringement and the use of said Goods or part isenjoined, c3controls will at its own expense either procure for the Customer the right to continue usingsuch Goods or part, replace same with non-infringingGoods, modify the same so it becomes non–infringing,or remove the Goods and refund the purchase price and the transportation and installation costs thereof.THIS PARAGRAPH SETS FORTH C3CONTROLS ENTIRELIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

Government Clauses and Contracts – No Governmentcontracts, regulations or clauses shall apply to theGoods of this order or bind c3controls unless specifically agreed in writing by an authorized representative of c3controls.

Goods sold by c3controls are not intended to be used,nor shall they be used, as a “Basic Component” under10 CFR 21 (NRC).

Visitor Passes – c3controls shall be provided suchaccess to Customer’s premises as c3controls deemsreasonably necessary to enable c3controls to provideservices to Customer in accordance with these termsand conditions and any applicable specification relating hereto.

Notwithstanding anything in any visitor pass form,premises access agreement or similar document presented by Customer to any c3controls representativeas a condition of access to Customer’s premises,c3controls and its representatives shall not: (i) be liablefor any claim, injury or damage to Customer, its agents,employees or contractors or any third party relating to or arising out of c3controls visit or Customer’s premises, except for incidents occurring while c3controls personnel are on Customer’s premises and only to the extent such claim, injury or damageresults directly from the negligence of c3controls representative; (ii) waive any claim for loss or damageto person or property caused by Customer, its agents,employees, contractors, or any third party; or (iii)release Customer, its agents, employees, or contractorsor any third party from any claim for injury, loss or damage to person or property occurring during c3controls visit to Customer’s premises.

Assignment – This agreement may not be assigned byeither party without the written consent of the otherparty. c3controls may, without the consent of Customer,assign this agreement to a present or future affiliate or subsidiary or assign the right to receive paymenthereunder thereto.

Governing Law – This agreement shall be deemed to be made in and performed in the Commonwealth ofPennsylvania and shall be governed by and interpretedin accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth ofPennsylvania, including its provisions of the UniformCommercial Code, but specifically excluding the provisions of the 1980 UN Convention Contracts for the International Sales of Goods. If any portion of these Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid orunenforceable, the parties agree that the remainingportions shall remain in full force and effect.

Patterns, Molds, Tools and Dies – Notice will be given if special patterns, molds, tools or dies arerequired to complete any order. Charges for such patterns or tools do not convey title thereto or the rightto remove them from c3controls plant. If patterns,molds, tools or dies are not used for a period of twoyears, c3controls shall have the right to scrap themwithout notice.
