Year One Excursion Year One had a wonderful day on their excursion last Friday. They went on a behind the scenes tour of Woolworths where they all spent time looking around and learning about making healthy food choices. The students were very spoilt as they were given an activity pack, a Woolworth’s trainee hat, some fruit salad and a piece of fruit on their way out! Then they headed to the town library to listen to two fabulous books and a craft activity. We are very grateful to Woolworths and the town library for providing our students with these fabulous learning opportunities.
Hockey Session Stage 2 enjoyed participating in a hockey skills session last Wednesday. Thank you to Hockey NSW for running the day and Stage 2 staff for ensuring our students followed our school values.

Stage 2 Excursion to Echuca All participating students received notes outlining the itinerary, what to pack and medical details needed for our excursion to Echuca next week. There are only a few medical notes remaining to be returned. Please get them to us as soon as possible. Also, a few people still need to pay the last $60 towards the excursion. The excursion MUST be paid in full by this Friday. If you have any enquiries about the excursion please contact Mrs Campbell. Safe Pick Up from School
We have three places where students can leave the school in the afternoon" 1. From the car park if being picked up by car 2. From the front gate near the office where there is a safe crossing. This is the only gate students being picked up from the front of the school can exit. 3. The bus gate which is only for students catching buses. We really appreciate your support in keeping our students safe by using the crossing.
School Hats A reminder that students need to wear school hats to be able to play outside. School hats are available for $15 from the school canteen or the uniform shop in the hall on Thursday mornings. Murrumbidgee Regional High School, the new high school model for Griffith An upgrade is underway for the new high school model for Griffith, recently announced as Murrumbidgee Regional High School.
The new school model combines the two high schools in Griffith, Griffith High and Wade High, into a single school operating over two sites.
Project overview Upgrade works are planned at both sites and concept designs are now being finalised.
