I would like to congratulate all the students who were award recipients. Thank you to the parents and community members who were in attendance. I would also like to thank all our sponsors for their generous support. Students will return in 2019 on the following dates: Years 7, 11 and 12 on Wednesday 30 January 2019. Years 8, 9 and 10 on Thursday 31 January 2019. Narooma High School uniforms, including the green sports PE shirts, can now be purchased at EzyWear, located in the centre of Narooma near the lights. Our staff were pleased with this years HSC results. A large number of students received Band 5 which places them in the top 20% of the state and we had two students who made the distinguished achievers list by scoring Band 6. Rory Spurgeon in Mathematics and Cassidy Ker in English Extension 1 and Legal Studies. Congratulations to all our outgoing Year 12 students. On Pages 4, 5 and 6 please find information about the FACS scholarships which are available for next year. Finally, I wish everyone a safe Christmas and Happy New Year. PRINCIPAL’S DESK

On Tuesday Week 10, we held our annual Presentation Day. I would like to congratulate all

the students who were award recipients. Thank you to the parents and community members

who were in attendance. I would also like to thank all our sponsors for their generous support.

Students will return in 2019 on the following dates:

Years 7, 11 and 12 on Wednesday 30 January 2019.

Years 8, 9 and 10 on Thursday 31 January 2019.

Our staff were pleased with this year’s HSC results. A large number of students received Band

Presentation Day luncheon for our special guests was planned, prepared and served by the HSC Hospitality students under the guidance of their teacher Miss Harris. Guests were very happy with their outstanding food and service.

Quota International of Narooma members, Carol Mead and Susan Pryke, presented to the recipients of the Fine and Applied Arts Scholarship, an encouragement award and a Hospitality and Food Technology Scholarship to Stephanie Taylor, Connor Breust and Ryan Shaw at Presentation Day.

Congratulations to Narooma High's Class of 2018 Campbell Allison and Cassidy Kerr on their fantastic HSC results!
