Principal’s Column This Week’s Whale Awards and Class Academic Awards
Hello, Giinagay, Hai,
Nambucca Valley Art Show
A great night was had at the opening of our Nambucca
Valley Art Show, where teachers from the 10 schools
nominated students to exhibit a picture of their favourite
place. The Valley 10, K-12 Art Exhibition showcased public
school talent. Thanks to the students and their families
that came along and supported the event. A huge thank
you to Sarah Landers, Principal of Medlow PS who made
this event possible.
Scotts Head Public School provides quality educational
experiences which develop children's academic, social,
creative, physical, cultural and citizenship abilities. This
experience was certainly tailored, to assist children to
realise their unique potential especially in their artistic
talents.
At Scotts Head Public School, we work really hard to
ensure that all students are given lots of opportunities to
experience a range of extra curricular activities.
Recently at the Bowling Club and now with this feedback
below that we have just received, all of us as a community
should be proud of the contributions our students are
making to the lives of each other, community and the
valley as whole.
"Hi All
I just want to take the opportunity to personally thank
everyone ( Teachers, Sports Coordinators and Principals
of all the schools) that have been involved in our Term 4
Programs and our Gala day Event held last Friday.
We at the NRL Development would like to acknowledge
everyone for all of the hard work organising the programs
from K-6 during the Term and allowing us the time to help
develop some skill based activity games for the students.
The Gala day was just fantastic with all the help from the
Ladies at the canteen, to all the teachers who readily got
the teams to their fields on time every game. It was a
great team effort so please thank all involved.
Thank you to the students who were just awesome all
day long and their Sportsmanship, Inclusiveness to all
team players was just magical, truly awesome students.
All schools would be so proud of them all for making the
day so fantastic.
Many thanks once again.
