COVID 19 restrictions remain unchanged regarding social distancing protocols. This includes following good hygiene practices and minimising the number of visitors into the school. Remember, if your child is unwell we ask that you please keep them at home. Current advice is that school, interschool events and excursions will not take place for the remainder of this term. Later this term this will be reviewed and further advice will be provided for Term 3 and beyond. ATTENDANCE Student attendance is a high priority for our school and the Department of Education. I have again included a table outlining the affects of poor attendance on a students’ learning. In the event that your child or children are absent from school, it is a policy requirement that a note informing the school of the date/s of absence and the reason for the absence is provided to the school within 7 days of returning to school after the absence. You can provide this information in a written note sent with your child or in an email to the school’s email [email protected]. COMMUNICATION From time-to-time the school may contact parents and leave a message to return a call. Often staff use our fax line to contact parents to ensure our main line stays open for incoming calls. If you need to return a call, please check the number and return the call by phoning 66538255. The school will also continue to communicate with familes by email and Facebook. CHANGE OF ROUTINES If your child or children are going home with someone different, catching a different bus or going to a friend’s
house, we ask that the parents of the child or children whose routine has changed contact the school to advise
of any changes. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept changes to routines given by the children or other
parents/carers. Please either send a note with your child or call the school on 66538255 to advise of changes.
