Welcome back to Term Two. We hope you had a wonderful holiday and spent some time relaxing time with family and friends.

Congratulations Well done to Matilda Prince and Joseph Prince who both completed their challenge over the holidays. With the cooler weather the library is sure to be a popular spot at lunch time. Winter Uniform With the colder weather upon us, children are able to wear their full winter uniform. Our School Uniform Shop is open Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30—9:30. Please make sure all clothing is labelled to prevent items going into our Lost Property Box. Alternatively, you can purchase uniform online through Flexischools and your child’s uniform will be delivered to their classroom.

NAPLAN Week 3 NAPLAN assess literacy and numeracy—important skills that each child needs to succeed in school and life. The NAPLAN tests are designed to help us make sure students are on track with their literacy and numeracy development. Students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 participate in NAPLAN tests for reading, writing, conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy. Between 14th and 24th May our school will participate in NAPLAN Online. Students do not need to be computer experts to take the NAPLAN test online. Making sure students have computer skills is part of our school curriculum, and our teachers will ensure your child is familiar with the online format. To see the types of questions and interactive features of NAPLAN Online, visit the public demonstration site. If you have any questions about NAPLAN Online, please contact your child’s teacher.
