Term 1 Week 10 Date: 31st March 2016 Scarlet Fever. There has been a single case of Scarlet Fever in the school. It is not considered highly contagious however parents should be on the lookout for a high temperature, inamed throat, swollen neck glands and a ne pinkred rash over the neck, chest and abdomen. The disease is spread through direct contact for example sharing food and water boƩles. Head lice. There have been mulƟple cases of head lice over the past week. Please check your child’s hair and treat if lice and or eggs are present. Persistence is required when treaƟng lice and oŌen a follow up treatment is necessary in ten days Ɵme. Country Fair. Please be advised that next Mondays meeƟng has been postponed unƟl next term due to unforeseen circumstances. ANZAC Service. As part of the Bathurst RSL commemoraƟon of ANZAC Day, students are invited to march in the morning parade on April 25th. Interested students should dress in ocial school uniform and meet Mrs Smith at 9.45am at the front of the RSL club in Rankin Street. Students will then march to the Carillion in Kings Parade for the Community CommemoraƟon Service. At the end of the service students will gather at the gates of the Court House for collecƟon by their parents. School Tennis Team Victory!  

Our team is through to the 3rd round of the school knockout  compe on with  a  resounding win over Cowra Public School.  

The  team  consis ng  of  Cameron  Jackson,  Ethan  Haley, Brianna Weal, Olivia McCauley and  reserve, Roxy George, were victorious in all their matches.  

A er a forfeit in Round 1 from Bathurst West Public School, we are set to play Round 3 early next term.  

Well done team.

Don't forget that entry for 2016 ICAS compe ons is due  to  the  front  office  by  Tomorrow Friday April 1st (Week 10). Entry forms were published in the Week 4  school  newsle er  or  can  be  collected  from  the office. For more informa on contact Julie Sack.  

Eglinton Playgroup  

All welcome… We meet every Tuesday morning 10am to 12pm at the Eglinton War Memorial Hall (opposite the school). Ages 0 to school age.   

Have a cuppa with other mums while the kids have a play and some morning tea.   

   

  

 

Due  to  Polar  Fleece  jumpers  being  bulky  to  store and  expensive  to  purchase... we  do  an  order  for them each year..... so get  ready now  for  the chilly months  to  come.  Please  fill  out  order  form  (you don't  have  to  pay  now...  pay  when  you  collect $40.00)  and  leave  it  at  school  office  for  me  to      collect. Final date orders to be in by 8th April.
